Flat-pack toys? That’s music to my ears.
My kids have an uncanny knack of picking the largest toys at the toy library – most often, the toy oven and fridge. We’ve borrowed these same toys dozens of times and while one part of me thinks I should just buy one, another part knows that we simply don’t have room for a permanent toy kitchen. Which is why Flatout Frankie gets the thumbs up from me.
Flatout Frankie have just launched their first range of cardboard flat pack toys. There are four toys in the collection – a dolls house, a princess castle, an aeroplane and a stove.
Striking white graphics on plain cardboard provide perfect play details – hot plates, knobs and utensils on the stove, furniture in the dollhouse and ‘Red Baron’ flames on the nose of the plane. The best feature? They fold up when you’re done playing.
Of course, Flatout Frankie toys are all recyclable and made with FSC and Rainforest Alliance Certified cardboard and water based inks.
