Wooden toys hold a special spot in our house. Favourites with our children for their simplicity, an added bonus is they can stand up to hard play. Even so, I don’t see many wooden toys for children past the preschool years so I love finding something that kids of all ages can enjoy.

I’m not sure how many articles we’ve written about wooden blocks but I for one have reviewed: Zen Blocks, Cubikus, Shapemaker blocks and Citiblocs all in the past year. It’s amazing that designers are able to keep coming up with a new take on the humble wooden block.
