With winter approaching – although I’m still waiting for autumn to kick in – we’re all probably starting to think about our children’s winter wardrobes. It’s nice to have a change from the usual bright colours I choose for my boys. They both suit earthier tones and these printed nature themes pair beautifully with such shades.
Visit the sublime Ada Ada website and you will be wondering whether you are shopping for beautiful baby clothes or leafing through a superb photography portfolio. In fact, it is both.
Is there anything cuddlier than a newborn baby? Yes, a baby in cashmere. London-based Chinti and Parker has created a small but utterly delectable range of cashmere knits for babies and toddlers (and mums). The designs are not about fashion. Instead they are timeless, essential garments that will never date.
One look at Broer and Zus had me wanting to go there and explore what their shelves had to offer. Hook, line and sinker. Then upon further reading I discovered an international flight would be involved which kind of put the brakes on the whole idea.
A few small-screen stars from the 1990s have gone on to find their niches in child-related fields – just as Melrose Place actor Josie Bissett has become a children’s author (see her book Tickle Monster in our Christmas Roundup), 90210’s Tori Spelling has launched into the world of children’s fashion with her website Little Maven.
