I like anything that’s cute, fun and slightly quirky so if ever I needed a reason to relocate to France, this may be it.
Every child, big or small, needs something soft to cuddle. Of course, it has become apparent to us that not all softies are created equal so here’s some that sit comfortably at the top of the pile.
My limited knowledge of the ‘plush world’ inhabited by plush toy collectors and enthusiasts of all ages has exploded with my introduction to Anna Chambers and her glorious plush creations.
Old-style games will never go out of fashion – doctors and nurses, cowboys and Indians, tea parties, playing house and pretend fishing expeditions. They all captivate children with the thrill of grown-up role play while transporting them to an imaginary world that frees their creativity.

We love a sense of the silly in our household, and Ninja Baker plushie sure does fit the bill. I also had a good laugh at the euphemistically-named ‘Lonely Dollop’ which looks rather like it appeared in a nappy!
I’m not sure I can go on without owning one of these delightful handmade dollies. Each has its own very individual character and the humour is written all over each sweet little face.
