Jamie Oliver gave wife Jools the most adorable present we’ve ever seen

Jamie Oliver is nothing if not a kidder (in more ways than one) and his Mother’s Day dedication to wife Jools – mum of his 127 5 children – was ridiculously true to form!

“You’re welcome”

Jools and Jamie are parents to 15-year-old Poppy Honey, 14-year-old Daisy Boo, 8-year-old Petal Blossom, 7-year-old Buddy Bear, and 19-month-old River Rocket.

Jamie uploaded the above photo of the couple’s youngest child, River staring straight into the camera. As you can see, the pair’s adorable toddler wears a onesie reading: “I’m your Mother’s Day gift. Dad says you’re welcome.” Jamie added the caption:”Last Mother’s Day present” and we are sure Jools was stoked to receive such a blinking delightful bundle on the UK’s special day for mums.

“Brave, strong and kind”

Jools uploaded her own tribute to mums over the weekend too. Hers was much less cheekily – and indeed very sensitively worded – paying homage to her own mother and everyone who was having mum-ish thoughts and experiences.

“Happy happy mums day,” Jools wrote. “To my truly wonderful, special mum brave, strong and kind. To all the other wonderful mums who do such a fantastic and important job. To those who no longer have their lovely mums and those wanting to become mothers and mums who have lost precious babies a special day, much love.”

Alongside this lovely caption, Jools shared a surprising vintage snap of her gorgeous mum – sporting a fetching sunhat and scythe.

Keeping it real

It’s not the first time Jools has spoken up about families who have lost babies. Jools shared her own experience of miscarriage when her kidswear label Little Bird released a onesie to help fund research into miscarriage.

“I had a miscarriage at three months, which makes you so worried once you are pregnant again – it makes it impossible to enjoy the early stages of the pregnancy,” Jools revealed.

We have to say, we love this family. While they are obviously very well off, they’re also in touch with the kinds of triumphs and tricky bits more regular families are wrangling. And we love it that Jools doesn’t Photoshop the heck out of her Insta photos, too! What a champ.
