British family proudly announce they’re expecting baby number 22
A British family are harking back to the days when you always needed several spare children, announcing their family is about to add baby number 22 to the gang. WE. KNOW.

But really, it’s not for us to pass judgement on this many children-ed family. That said it’s certainly very hard to envisage how you’d ever get to sleep, use the bathroom, see the bottom of the laundry basket or get around town without the aid of a bus (and a double-decker one at that!)
Sue Radford and her hubby Noel shot to fame as their family headed past 12 children back in 2008.
Interestingly Noel had a vasectomy when the pair were pregnant with their ninth child, but he went on to have it reversed so he and Sue could have more babies. WE. KNOW.
The couple said they were stopping at 21 after giving birth to her most recent bub in 2018. But apparently they were pranking us because a recent update on Youtube had Sue announcing that she’s 15 weeks pregnant and sharing an ultrasound image of their growing bub.
The couple are currently parents to 11 girls and 10 boys, and Sue says she’s hoping this incoming little one will be a boy to even things up.
After announcing their big news on YouTube, the family quickly disabled comments on the post as opinions flooded in.
“Sorry guys but we have disabled comments as some of our children read them and some of the comments were inappropriate,” the wrote thanking 99.9 percent of fans for their lovely comments.
“You make amazing children!”
There were lots of kind comments on Facebook too, as this family has legions of devoted followers who love seeing how they live their very big life.
“You obviously don’t like sleep… but huge congratulations as you make amazing children and such a happy wonderful family. Old families were always big and shared better bonds than the smaller ones of today … you’re amazing,” one supporter wrote.
“Wow amazing news! You will now have given birth in 5 decades. The 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and baby number 22 is due in the 20’s. That must be a record,” another pointed out.
A fruitful union
Sue was just 14 when she gave birth to her first child, Chris. Noel was 18 at the time.
The pair were determined to raise their little boy themselves because Sue herself had been adopted and she didn’t want the same experience for her son.
Noel and Sue married when she was 18 and then their second child Sophie arrived. Sophie was followed by: Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Caspar, Alfie (stillborn), Hallie, Phoebe, Archie and Bonnie.
The family are the focus of documentary series 15 Kids and Counting which featured annual updates on the family. The most recent was 21 Kids and Counting which aired in January.
It looks like we can expect at least one more instalment in this series next year!
