Multiple media outlets have confirmed that Khloé Kardashian gave birth to her first child – a baby girl – on Thursday.

Welcome, little one!

US Weekly, People, CNN, Hello and ET confirm that Khloé Kardashian has had her baby. We’re so happy for her, and it seems she was surrounded by her family who flew in from various corners of the country when Khloe needed them most.

Obviously another pretty terrible situation has been running alongside Khloé’s late pregnancy, labour and birth, but we’re fairly certain the last thing Khloé needs is another media outlet taking guesses at what’s going on in her relationship.

We’d prefer to focus on the fact that she’s finally got the baby she wanted so much in her arms, and she’s being supported by people the truly care for her.

Here’s hoping she recovers from the birth speedily (and we’re secretly hoping she’s safely ensconced at Kris Jenner’s compound some time in the next day or so. #GetTheHeckOutOfCleveland)

A long road

Khloé revealed what we all knew – that she was expecting a baby – with a December Instagram post.

She’s been blogging her pregnancy via her own website and various social media channels since then.

This is the first baby for Khloé, who has always been very eager to become a mum. She’d considered harvesting some eggs after her relationship with ex-husband Lamar Odom ended, but then she met and fell in love with NBA player Tristan Thompson – and pretty soon a baby was on the way.

Bring it on!

Khloé said she felt well and truly prepared for the life-changing task that lay ahead and felt she’d landed where she truly wanted to be.

“I don’t feel like I need to prepare for my birth by freaking myself out. I’ve seen over eight births live and in person. Women were made to do this! It’s a very natural experience,” she wrote on her blog.

“I read my apps every day and I ask my doctor if I have any questions, so I’m honestly not that afraid. Of course I’m a little nervous to go into labor but I’m trying to not overthink something that literally happens all the time.”

Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you've been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love! Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we've been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us ❤️ Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it's the best bundle of feelings I've ever felt in my life! ❤️❤️❤️

“My greatest dream”

While she initially tried to conceal her pregnancy, like little sister Kylie Jenner, in the end it got a little bit too tricky. She spilled the beans on the socials, explaining this really was her “greatest dream” but later noted that the early pregnancy had been high risk.

“My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life!”

A huge congratulations to Khloé on this new arrival! We can’t wait to hear more about this beautiful baby and wish her all of the good things.
