Sisters before misters

Khloé’s been navigating some very tricky circumstances, as the media continue to publish condemning evidence of her baby’s father, Tristan Thompson, stepping out with multiple women during her pregnancy.

As this controversy swirled last week, Khloé gave birth to the couple’s daughter, True. The little girl was born on Thursday 12 April, weighing in at 6 pounds 13 ounces (a lick over 3 kilograms).

“Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” Khloé posted on Instagram. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”

Khloé’s thought to be pushing on, prioritising her baby’s health and happiness, and has chosen not to discuss her relationship drama publicly.

“Ultimate mum mentors”

Today – on sister Kourtney’s 39th birthday – Khloe’s paying tribute to the women that supported her through her pregnancy (and through life). Her sisters are top of mind as she settles into the role of mum-of-one.

“My sisters are all such phenomenal moms!” Khloé posted on her blog this morning. “Sure, we disagree on some of our parenting skills, but ultimately I look up to them so much as mothers. I can’t say exactly what advice or skills I’ll be taking from them, but I’m going to remain awe-inspired by how they can handle it all. I hope that comes easily for me.”

“I’ve already learned so much”

While she admits she’s a little stubborn when it comes to toeing the line, Khloé says that the security of having sisters to back her up is a real comfort.

“Even though I’m not big on taking advice—I don’t believe there’s only one-way-or-the-highway and we all have to adapt into our own routines—it’s so comforting to know that I have sisters whom I can ask about anything that may come up. Just by observing them as moms, I’ve already learned so much.”

We wish Khloé all the very best things as she pushes through this special and really tricky time in her life.
