Baby carrying has become increasingly popular in Western cultures. The benefits of having your baby or toddler close to you as you go about your day not only makes them feel secure, but also teaches them about life as they watch you perform tasks. We’ve put together some top carriers for you to consider if you’re on the hunt.

We recently published our Slings Roundup and as slings and carriers are quite different creatures, we thought it would be helpful to separate them. Click on the links to get to the full article, where we detail the specifics of each carrier.

  1. Love my ergo too! I cross the straps on mine and love that I can carry my baby and my toddler. The insert thing is really snugly and great. Might need one of those pretty ones, mine is a grey performance

  2. Beco Gemini is awesome. Can do front, side and hip carry, forward and inward facing, has cross-over straps and all the weight is carried on hips.

  3. A friend of mine has an Ergo for her little grandchild. They were advised by a GP that they know that some don’t have wide enough “seats” which keep their little legs far enough apart which can easily cause hip problems.
