Isn’t this the most divine children’s luggage you’ve seen? This fabulous Australian brand has just launched – and we can’t wait to show you what they have on offer.
We love a good piece of children’s luggage at Babyology. It has to have the right balance of style and function, with that irresistible cute factor that attracts children (so they’re willing to lug it around an airport!). Geelong-based Pack’d has burst onto the market with a flurry, launching this stunning range of kids’ luggage.

The specs are impressive – with each piece of luggage measuring forty-two centimetres high, forty centimetres wide and twenty-two centimetres deep. With the handle extended, the luggage stands at ninety-nine centimetres. There’s a gorgeous range of colours and patterns available, and most are unisex. I love the Dashing Hound, with its long sausage dog snaking down the face of the luggage. There’s also Dot to Dotty, Humbug and Superstar.

The outer shell of the luggage is ABS plastic and is perfect for kids, as it’s strong, light and easy to wipe clean. The interior is lined, also making it easy to keep clean. Each piece weighs just two and a half kilos, leaving plenty of room (and weight allowance) to stack it with much-needed items. These also make perfect overnight bags for children off to spend some school holiday time with grandparents or friends. The luggage can be ordered directly from Pack’d, and each piece costs $159.00.

Dashing Hound and Dot to Dotty were birthday gifts for my daughters (5 & 8) last year. My girls love them and so do I! The cases have already proven perfect for weekends away and extended stays at their grandparents. Actually, my mum informed me that my 5-yr old was using her empty case as a stool so she could reach the light switch! OMG! But upon my “slightly” anxious examination, I was so relieved to realise that there were absolutely no dents whatsoever. Phew!
I had been searching for ages for good quality cases to replace their “well used” and out-grown Trunkies (one of which hasn’t been used for over three years). When I discovered Pack’d I was instantly drawn to their lovely designs, but it was the quality of the cases themselves that was the clincher. I hadn’t been able to find any other cases/luggage aimed at kids that compared. When I think about how much I’ve spent on cases and “character” bags for my kids, I wish I’d have been able to buy from Pack’d years ago! I’m not normally one to post reviews, but in this instance I honestly believe that the product lives up to the hype.
this is fantastic! I’ve been lamenting the lack of options for years. International Traveller have had a few designs good for girls but not readily available and nothing fun for boys but the cases are really good. I’m not so keen on the price. I’d like it to be closer to $100 for a decent case and this one does not have a fully separated divider. I’ll keep my eye on it for when we need another one.
