 The challenges of transporting baby are many in this complicated world of planes, trains and automobiles. Some days it's all I can do to think my way through the carloads of baby paraphernalia we'll need just to get through just the weekend. Until now there's been an opportunity in the market for an all-in one system, one that caters for infant transportation on foot, in car, and that will also see a child through the toddler years. The Orbit System is set to revolutionise the way we get around with its three-in-one approach. Years of research canvassing parents about frustrations with current baby products, producing prototypes and extensive testing, led to this stunning modular system which has already been embraced by celebrity parents like Maggie Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts. The Orbit features a truly compact one-handed fold - an absolute blessing for parents juggling many objects or children! Rather than just the reversible handle of other high end prams, Orbit employs SmartHub rotation, which means that the seat can be rotated 360 degrees allowing the child to face foward, rear or sideways - great for cafes. The system can be upgraded later to include a stroller seat (the car seat is approved for overseas use). Orbit have their eyes firmly set on delivering a system that is not only the ultimate in clever design, but is beautiful and eco-conscious. The company's headquarters and manufacturing operations are run with the preservation of the environment in mind, and they're even releasing a special green edition of the Orbit in order to highlight the company's eco-friendly direction. Great consideration and effort has gone into eliminating chemical processes that harm the planet. You'll need to bypass the car seat function for now (not for Australian use as a car seat but makes a gorgeous pram attachment), however, as a pram for infant and toddler, this is a buy that will have your social circle talking! People will be falling over themselves to get a closer look at one of these beauties. Available in your choice of stylish black or earthy mocha.
