Having pushed around my Urban Walker pram from Combi for the past eight months, I can honestly say I’m one of the brand’s biggest fans. The pram handles well, is easy to negotiate in tiny shops and cafes, and I can easily collapse it and pop it in the boot of my car with one hand (while holding a very heavy baby in the other!). And I’m stopped so often by pram admirers everywhere I go that I’m considering asking Combi to cut me a cheque.
So, the fan that I am (I reviewed them back in March 2009), I’m pleased to announce two new prams to the range – The Urban Walker Prestige priced at $549.99, and the Well Carry priced at $449.99.
The Urban Walker Prestige has all the features of the original such as the genuine one-hand open/fold mechanism, large canopy and basket and active suspension, but the Prestige also has front guard, an extra long seat and matching boot cover. It also comes in two gorgeous classic colours: champagne and navy.
The Well Carry is an entirely new addition to the Combi family and is super lightweight at 5.5kg. It also has the one-hand open/fold mechanism, large basket with easy access, high ventilation seat fabric, large canopy, front guard, large wheels, front suspension and an extra long seat. Suitable for bubs newborn to 20kg, the pram is available in black/silver, and red/gold.
The Well Carry prams and the Champagne Urban Walker Prestige will be available in late October, and the Navy Urban Walker Prestige will be available in Late December. They’ll be available at many baby stores including Baby Kingdom, or check the Combi website for local stockist details.

I recently purchased my Urban Walker Prestige and I cannot praise it highly enough. I had another designer stroller and after becoming frustrated with some design flaws and the inability to purchase a sunshade that fit it I decided to buy the Urban Walker.
There are so many pro’s to this machine:
Lightweight
I have this stroller in my car permanently and is is extremely easy to lift in and out of the boot – no more painful wrists or backs!
Extra Large Canopy
What a great feature. No more ill fitting covers, blankets that blow off, or quickly trying to scramble to get a cover on. This is great for the sunshine and also when bubs is sleeping – just wonderful!
Shopping Basket
Can finally get into a shopping basket when bubs is fully reclined – need I say more.
Size
Is narrow enough to weave through cafes, shops and busy streets without getting every passer by to move out of the way – finally I’m not pushing around a bus!
Reversable Handle
This is great when bubs is getting a little whingy and wants to only look at a familiar face – saves the tears of bubs and mum!
I just love this stroller and so does my little daughter
Any reviews on the Combi Miracle Turn DX? Seriously considering one for baby #4. LOVE the canopy. It seems very narrow – would it cope with a larger child (I have big babies!) and can you successfully use a toddler skateboard with it? I asked Combi about the skateboard but they won’t recommend one as they haven’t done any testing and my local baby shop didn’t have much idea.
