Be seen and be heard with The Pram Bell

Pram bell 2 Be seen and be heard with The Pram Bell

If you’re a runner with a jogging pram then you know how dangerous it can be weaving between pedestrians on a footpath or track. Here’s a fantastic way to alert your presence without having to yell watch out, I’m coming through!

Well, we can at least hope the arrival of the Pram Bell will let you save your voice for sweet lullabies instead. Easily attached to any pram, this bell with its gentle baby-friendly ding, makes getting out and about at speed a whole lot safer because people will know you’re coming.

Of course, the Pram Bell isn’t just for those who move at a fast pace – I imagine it will be a valuable pram accessory for those having to negotiate crowds with double prams. Instead of trying to manoeuvre your way through foot traffic, you can sound your bell and let people move around you.

The Pram Bell comes in black, white, pink and blue for $9.99 (or in a multi pack of four for $34.99)  from Pram Bell.

  1. I have one and it’s fantastic. It’s not about being rude, when you have a pram between you and the person ahead they generally can’t hear you. A simple bell ring does the trick then you can use your manners when you pass.

  2. I run a lot with my pram and the amount of times we’ve nearly had a collision is scary. Just recently got a pram bell and it works a treat! It’s quite a subtle sound so not too alarming and just let’s people know you’re there… If its about safety then a good thing for me!

  3. Most people recognise the sound of a bell and if it’s a nice polite ring then I think it’s a great idea, especially in situations when a polite ‘excuse me’ just isn’t heard.
I’ve seen slow weekend cyclists trying to verbally excuse themselves but some people are just oblivious.
It would be great while jogging around the ‘Tan on busy days.
