This is the exclusive we’ve been sweating on for months here at Babyology – indeed I’m breaking a sweat to get it written up for you in time to make school pick up!
Babyology is ecstatic to announce to Australia that the Mima Kobi and Xari prams will launch in April and arrive right here in May and June!

We’ve written about the Kobi before, the innovative double pram whose appealing rounded design caught the eye of many a parent and made our favourite pram list last year. Just look at it in all its glory; it’s love, I tell you! That super-special silver colour is a limited edition colour called Cosmo – check out the other colours and options below.

What we’ve never written about before is the lightweight single pram, the 9.2kg Mima Xari (below)! It has the same “bassinet inside” system as the Kobi, which means the seat converts to a bassinet in about fifteen seconds!

It’s the lighter weight option for those on their final baby, who don’t envisage needing a double pram. Designer Davy Kho designed both ingenious models – we absolutely love the idea of an inbuilt bassinet! No expensive optional extras and no having to store a large item that’s only used for a short time.

Congratulations to Davy Kho of Mima for creating such beautiful machines – we’re sure our Australian parents will absolutely love the ultra-modern design! It will also accommodate the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio car capsule using the optional adapters.
Thanks to Nursery Elegance, the Australian distributor who will update us soon about pricing and who will run the official launch at the Melbourne Baby & Toddler Show from 8 to 10 April.
Update – the Mima Kobi and Xari are now available from Minimee! The single pram Xari is $1248 including the Starter Pack and the Kobi is $1348 including the Starter Pack. The additional seat unit is $299, the Mima footmuff is $99 and the Adaptor Kit for the Peg Perego Prima Viaggio infant capsule is $39.

Omg. I want!
Oooooh, I just ordered a Stokke Xplory V3 but this looks amazing. Babyology, what would your pick be between the Xplory and the Xari? Would love your opinion!
How very exciting …..!!!!
They are expensive. In Europe it is 795Euro for the Xari & a base price of 895Euro for the Kobi.
amazing!!!
I LOVE it!
I just purchased the mima kobi from holland and it costed me 1260 euros with maxi cosi addaptors.

Hi Samy,
Do you use this as a double pushchair? If so do you have any feed back?
I just wondered if the baby at the bottom has enough space and when the top baby is reclined, does this restrict the space for the bottom baby?
It looks so nice…. :-)
does anyone ship these to the u.s.?
Well to be honest its as pretty as it is in the pics and I have been getting a lot of comments on it but the disatvantage of this puschair is that, no the baby at the botton does not have much space especialy when the baby at the top is facing you and at the same time I dont want my infant to be in the carrycot at the bottom as want her at the top facing me. I wish the carrycot could go on top with the extra chair at the bottom but it does not work like that I am afraid. I now use my maxi cosi to have the baby facing me and the older child at the bottom facing opposite direction. If anyone wants to see pics..give me ur emails and I shall send you pics.

Hi all,
I have requested pictures from the manufacturer/distributor so we’ll wait and see if they have any. Out of consideration to the original poster who kindly offered to send the photos, we’re now asking that no more requests be made. We’ll keep you posted! :)

We live in Australia and have had a mima for 3months now. We use the bassinet and seat for our 2month old and 1year old children. If you’re thinking of purchasing I’d recommend the dark colour. We have it in white & it’s a nightmare to clean. They say use an eraser for marks, but it just doesn’t get rid of them all and it gets dirty soooo easily! Especially where our daughters feet rest on the bottom of the seat.
The pram is lovely, but very big. Hard to fit in a car with the two attachments & the base is quite heavy. Also, it’s not that easy getting a baby in and out of the bassinet on the bottom when you use the pram as a double. Other than that we really like it.
Has anyone purchased the XARI? I’m a very busy of a 4 year old and a small business, desperately trying to find a light, no fuss pram that at times I can walk long distances with. Not sure if I’m asking for the impossible
I got the mima xariin white and black and love it i get so many comments : )
My sister went to see the Mima xari stroller in baby bunting recently. N she accidentally scratch the cocoon seat with her nails & unfortunately the mark is still VISIBLE after she tried erasing it. I really would like to hear Mima owners’ opinions on this. Have u ladies came across this matter? Would really appreciate some honest views. Thanks a bunch!
You can ask them directly on the mima facebook page. I don’t think a scratch will come out. Mine don’t. I use an eraser, a plastic cleaner & a foamy upholstery cleaner but I still have marks that wont budge. It’s quite a hard pram to keep clean & unmarked.
Can someone help me with the question: is it possible to put car capsule Peg Perrego Primo Viaggio on Mima Xari as it was written up? I am asking about this in all shops, but they are saying me it is just possible to get adapter for the Maxi Cosi.
Does anyone know if the Xari is in accordance with Australian Safety Standards? I can’t find any information anywhere?
In order to enter the country and officially be sold here, it must comply with our safety standards Susannah :)
How do I order mima xari stroller with izi go carseat and carseat addaptors? I have checked so many websites all have pictures but i cant order from any of them. I need it shiped to United States, Washington.
