Currently available from many US retailers including Pacifier Online although I am yet to find one who will ship to our corner of the world. Try your luck on ebay as that seems to be our only option right now, however I'll keep you posted on when they will be in Australia.
I found a really interesting interview with Bugaboo designer Max Barenbrug on Babble so head over and read the interview to find out some of those burning questions you've always wanted to know about the pricey pram.
I also tracked down some more coverage of the upcoming Bugaboo Bee, in Blueprint Magazine, a UK design magazine. Big news is the price, and the picture above of the effortlessly folded Bugaboo - never thought I'd see those three words in one sentence.
Bugaboo co-founder Max Barenbrug is quoted saying the Bee is specifically designed to appeal to men, who are too often "hunched over poorly designed strollers...and struggling with inefficient folding mechanisms."
In New York, the Bugaboo Bee is being touted as a slick 'gadget,' something new in the overcrowded boys' toys market.
At a price of US$529, expensive for everything but a Bugaboo, we will have to wait a little longer for the release to see for ourselves if its worth the money. See the Bugaboo for more details and to keep up to date on the release.
We're betting there will be a stampede when the latest Bugaboo stroller becomes available to Aussie parents.
The Bugaboo Bee is a lightweight version of the beloved Gecko and Frog but has a few design differences: four small wheels instead of two and a curvier shape, although we love that the distinctive colour and shade design remains the same.
Most importantly for those of us who don't drive big cars, the makers promise the Bee will be a breeze to fold up and fit into small places. The Bee hits US shops in September, but there's no word yet on how much it'll cost.
The whole baby wearing thing is so easy and convenient, and with these stylish slings from My Karma Baby we feel there is a design to go with everyone's style, Mum or Dad.
The design is simple -
it's one piece of fabric that drapes from shoulder to hip, cradling the
baby in the inside pouch. The bub seems very comfortable, snug and secure and I find it very comfortable to wear and it distributed babies weight accross your body.
There are many ways to carry your bub - the cradle, hip, kangaroo (facing out) and belly-to-belly.
It comes in a variety of stylish prints - and they offer the option to order reversible slings.
