Out And About
Written by Mandi Gunsberger
22.07.2007

With so much interest generated from the Micralite Toro, we wanted to keep you up to date on new developments with the release of this product.

One of the main exciting features is the comfortable floating chair so that it's more suitable for small bubs - it even reclines fully.

There is still no mention of it on the Micralite website yet. However the Toro is available for pre-order now via tots on-the-go to be shipped out in August. The cost is US$599 and US$190 additional for the carrycot and they will ship to Australia.

Colours available include: charcoal/ burnt orange; charcoal/ charcoal grey; charcoal/ emerald and charcoal/ stone.

Be one of the first to own this exciting new stroller by pre-ordering so you don't miss out.

Chic Nappy Bag from Anna & Sally

Out And About
Written by Mandi Gunsberger

I love these Anna & Sally nappy bags because they are stylish as well as practical.

They come with a handy fold out change station with detachable, machine washable change mat, two side pockets for drink bottles, 6 internal pockets, plus two external separate zipper compartments. Sturdy, silver feet helps the bag stay upright and clean. I also love the one handed, dual zipper action, a very clever feature for easy access to everything.

Both you and your partner will feel comfortable with these striped designs. Clever adjustable straps allows you to wear it as a shoulder bag, pack back or attach it to the back of the pram.

Available from Anna & Sally for $129.95

Isoki Reversible Baby Bags

Out And About

In May this year, Isoki launched fashionable new baby accessories into the Australian market.

The Reversible Baby Bag offers two bags in one, giving mothers a chance to still have individual style while being practical. The contents include a double-sided storage satchel, insulated cooler bag and change mat all of which can be removed and used individually. The underside of the bag offers a separate storage section for nappies and other necessities.

We love the zip off bottom storage section designed for change mat, nappies and dirty laundry. The range of colours and patterns is extensive, the vintage floral being our personal favourite.

Available at Ekidna Kidswear or Urban Baby for $189.95 and have a look at other items in the Isoki range.

More changes from Bugaboo this week....

The Bugaboo Cameleon has until now been available in a canvas base fabric set (carrycot fabric, seat fabric, underseat bag) combined with a fleece tailored fabric set (carrycot apron, sun canopy, seat cover), but Bugaboo is now also giving you the chance to kit out the whole pushchair in canvas.

Bugaboo has also introduced new tailored fabric sets in the existing Bugaboo colours - red, black and sand – plus two new colour options: off-white and dark brown.

Enjoy giving your pram a make-over with these new items. See the Bugaboo website for more details.

Wiegen Concept Stroller

Out And About
Written by Mandi Gunsberger

I have to start by warning you this Wiegen concept stroller is is only a prototype and not currently available.

The Wiegen, designed by Worrell, is too unique and stunning not to share with our readers and I'll keep you posted on its progress to the marketplace.  The Wiegen serves its purpose as a concept model to show us what's possible when more product designers continue to be creative when it comes to baby gear.

From Worrell's website:
"Wiegen is a wake-up call to the dated marketplace of lackluster competitors churning out products that fail to meet the needs of today's parents."

Though strollers have come a long way, style-wise none have totally hit the mark. Some are close, but none are spot on.  With breathable neoprene siding and a five point harness system, this stroller may prove to be practical too.  Hopefully it will be available soon.
