Oh boy – not a week goes by that we don’t get an enquiry about this one and now it’ll be here in a jiffy! Ever since we first posted about it in October 2010, we’ve had a gazillion enquiries about when it will be arriving in Australia. The wait is almost over, with the 4moms Origami Power Stroller hitting our shores in May and thrilling all parents with a penchant for gadgetry.

So, what does the Origami offer? Try the world’s first power-folding system (the pram folds itself at the touch of a button). It’s also the world’s first iPod-playing, mobile phone-charging, LCD-sporting pram. With a generator in the rear wheels that charges the pram as you walk, the Origami can power speakers, a phone charger, a speedometer, daytime running lights and sensors that detect when a child’s in the seat (so it’ll never fold by accident).

  8. 4moms sell direct online in USA so price is very low. Australia has import tax gst freight issues an importer that all adds to the price. Shop 4 mums sells at RRP set by importer with full Australian warranty and Australian Standards variations. If u buy offshore u will have no warranty in Auatralia or will pram meet Aussie standards. Big Risk Indeed. 4moms also have a strict structure of importers in each country and no crossing borders policy.
