The Diaper Valet from MoMamas is a really useful product, I am about to have number 2 and am a little less enthusiastic about carrying the entire nappy bag with me where ever I go compared to the first time round.
The wipes case fits in a slot and wipes are accessible without having to take the case out, and there is more than enough room to hold 5-6 nappies. There is also enough room to carry an extra change of clothes for emergencies. The bag is surprisingly small - about the width and height of a nappy case - and it easily fits in any bag.
It comes with a thin changing mat and you have the option of adding a handle to make a sort of purse out of it. There are a number of fabrics to choose from to create your Diaper Valet and prices are US$23 - US$30 plus shipping to Australia.
Here are a few more Bugaboo Bee photos as I know people are eager for more information as it comes through.
The latest on the price is US$529.
This is what the Bugaboo Bee looks like folded and I have a sneak peak of a demo video on how the Bee folds and unfolds.
The two Bugaboo prams available in Australia currently are the Gecko and the Cameleon, have a look at the specifications and where to buy them and other prams on the Babyology Pram Chooser.
It must be the season for new strollers because hot on the wheels of the new Bugaboo Bee is the equally gorgeous Micralite Toro. At first glance it looks like the designers have taken the bottom part of their hugely popular Micralite Fastfold (including the brilliantly easy folding mechanism) and added a more comfortable floating chair so that it's more suitable for small bubs - it even reclines fully.
The Toro is available later this month but there's no mention of it on the Micralite website yet. However, Olivers Baby Care in the UK are accepting pre-orders for £259 with the carrycot an extra £140.
Colours available include: charcoal/ burnt orange; charcoal/ charcoal grey; charcoal/ emerald and charcoal/ stone.
We all know nappy bags are invaluable accessories to parenthood, but the smart and stylish folks at Mahar Drygoods also know we don't always want be defined by our parent status. With that in mind they have created a range of bags - called the Paper Plane Messenger Bag - which work as well as an overnight bag or book bag as a nappy bag.
The bags are made of durable vinyl, lined with a choice of three vintage style cottons (Hawaiian, stripes or daisies) and have a large interior pocket . We love the plane detail, which comes in hot pink when you chose the taupe bag or brown if you go for the ice-blue.
The bags cost US$68 and can be shipped to Australia
Finally, the long-awaited Bugaboo cup holder! This will put a smile on the face of all you Bugaboo parents out there.
Designed for use with the Bugaboo Gecko, Frog, or Cameleon strollers it features inner clamps to conform to different sized cups. Start ordering those double lattes. Cost is US$24.95
Currently available from many US retailers including Pacifier Online although I am yet to find one who will ship to our corner of the world. Try your luck on ebay as that seems to be our only option right now, however I'll keep you posted on when they will be in Australia.
