A night light minus novelty characters and too-bright globes – yes, we’ve found it!

While we adore the OXO Candela Tooli night lights, the OXO Candela Glow Night Lights are little more subtle. These are yet another find snapped up by Babyology managing editor Mandi for her third child’s nursery. She says they’re the perfect night light, with a soothing glow.

The OXO Candela Glow Night Lights are rechargeable LED lights with a soft, warm glow. They’re portable, cordless and give up to eight hours of light from just one charge. They’re also extremely versatile, as they’ll easily adapt to a night light for older children. They light up when taken off the charger, so are perfect for children who need to go to the toilet at night.

  1. These were the perfect light for night time feeds but unfortunately they only lasted for 12 months. After that they would flicker whilst on the charger. I managed to find replacement batteries but it too failed to fix it.

  2. We had the blue/green ones since 1st bub was born & he’s just about to turn 5. They were fantastic! We did have to have the first set replaced but (had bought them at urban baby I think?) the retailer replaced it for free saying there were some issues and this was because they had to be fully discharged before back on the charging plate. We haven’t had any problems with the new ones since & they’re about 2 years old already.

  3. I absolutely loved these for the night time feeds. They were so handy to carry through the dark house and created the perfect light – not too bright to fully wake my baby (and sleeping husband) and not too dim that I couldn’t see. I am very surprised to hear about the charging issues that people are having because I was so impressed at how long they would last off the charge. I have bought them for all of my close friends that have had babies recently and they all agree that it is the best and most essential ‘baby item’.
