Prizeapalooza day three – Artbuds contemporary art for kids

artbudslifestyle1 Prizeapalooza day three Artbuds contemporary art for kids

I must confess to feeling a little smug recently when my six-year-old informed me that what he really wanted to do in the holidays was go and see the Picasso exhibition. However, it’s also true that any emerging interest he has in art has been developed through school, and not my own meagre efforts! Get your kids interested in contemporary art from the cradle with today’s Prizeapalooza offering.

Artbuds, an online gallery and shop which sources contemporary art just for kids from artists worldwide, is offering today’s winner a choice of either of the two prints seen here, from American artist Charlie Immer. The two prints are Shape Fitter (below, left) and Pool Guy (below, right). The prize is valued at $180 and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. These are limited edition prints, with only fifty available worldwide, exclusively through Art Buds.  The soothing colours and whimsical characters in these pieces make them a classic addition to the room of any young art afficionado.

To enter leave a comment below with your full name in the Post a Comment section, telling us your favourite two artists featured by Art Buds, and which of these two Charlie Immer prints you would snap up if you were the winner. You have seven days and entries close midnight 9 February 2012.

For full details see our Terms and Conditions.
