We’re celebrating the final day of Prizeapalooza with a stunning prize that will give your child’s space a designer edge.
Nest Design Studio is giving one very lucky Babyologist a nursery or child’s room design – to suit their need and budget, valued at $250.
Imagine having an interior designer study the space you intend to make your child’s oasis, and offer you their expert advice and top picks to make that space a showpiece. Imagine no longer! Nest Design Studio is an online interior design business specialising in nurseries and children’s rooms.

All consultations are completed by email, phone or Skype, kicked off by the client completing a design questionnaire and providing photos of the room. Nest Design Studio will then create a design to suit the needs, wants and budget of the client.
Clients receive a design board, mood board, inspiration board, scaled floor plans and a complete list of where to buy everything. Hugh’s nursery for my wise little man … what a truly adorable room.
Oh arent they gorgeous?
The one that would suit us best is Brydies Nursery <3
We collect elephants, its just beautiful!
I adore ‘Hugh’s nursery’!! We have decided to keep our soon to be little man’s nursery crisp and I think this themed decor would suit perfectly!
Charles’ nursery is just divine. I love the modern nautical theme and my little man Xavier would just LOVE to play with his boats in there.
Hughs nursery is super cute, we love the owls hoot hoot hoot, and the little train set toot toot toot.
Brydie’s Nursery would suit my little one because it is perfectly neutral and therefore easy to add to with her ever changing style! I also love this because it would be such a beautiful and easy transition from girl to boy as well as baby to child and even the unique and whimsicle teen!
We love all features of Hugh’s nursery – the red features, whimsical owls, the tree decal. It looks so airy, cohesive & uncluttered. I’m sure it could be adapted for our little girl who’s favourite colour is red and already has a collection of owls. She would look forward to waking up every morning to those owls on the wall.
Esther’s Whimsical Nursery – Elegant & childlike all in one!
Hughs nursery would suit my 3rd little one best, we have done not much to his room yet and this would be perfect. great colours and theme :)
My favourite is Brydie’s Nursery. I love it for myself let alone for Charlotte. The elephants really top off the whole look.
Brydies nursery design is great – love it, classic and simple
Coopers nursery is lovely. We dont yet know what the sex of our twins are yet, but we have the same cots and change table as in coopers room… And a variety of pretty colour could work for both girls and boys! Would love some help from Nest Design Studio.
The harmonious haven of Charle’s nursery (for my little Charlie)
Ester’s whimsical nursery is bright, fun and full of adventure just like our little papaya!
I have just recently discovered nest design studio and am in love with your work. Each design is so different but they all have elements that blend so beautifully. I love Charlie’s nursery and am a big fan of the chevron pattern.
Andy’s Whimsical Nest with the Babushka’s and Lanten’s
delight me and a whimsical world would make pleasant dreams and inspire fun day imagination for my sweet little apple.
Charles’s nursery is just gorgeous! I love the peppering of maps throughout the room. Most of my sons family live or come from far flung corners of the earth and so we love to surround him with maps to remind him of where he comes from.
Love, love, love the colour scheme of Charles’ Nursery and could completely see a room like this growing with my little man!
Charlie’s nursery speaks volumes of my 3-year-old son; vibrant red for his bright and cheery self, blue and white stripes like all those tops and toys he owns (thanks in part to his mum’s stripey obsession!). But it’s the array of design that says something of the creative streak that exists in my little boy – it would inspire him every time he walks in his bedroom!
I love the bright colours in Charles Nursery! My little lady loves bold colours and that lovely table and chair look perfect for sitting and drawing.
I adore the colouring and furnishings in Charles nursery and will soon need to make a new space for my son who is getting ready to go from cot & nursery to toddler & big boy room!
Hugh’s nursery is just divine.
I’d love it for this son of mine,
A place to rest and lay his head,
To love to be, and love his bed.
The colours and design would suit,
My little Carter, he’s such a hoot!
A place for toys, to play, have fun,
A comfy spot for this tired Mum!
Hugh’s nursery because its very very colourful, fun loving, creative and has white furniture that grows with baby . It also has plenty of storage to create a stimulating yet relaxing environment to help early development. Form meets function.
Brydie’s nursery would suit my little girl best as her mummy has loved elephants forever and would love for her daughter to share the same love.
Also, the little miss already owns a few elephant themed items so we already have a head start on a new elephant themed nursery.
I adore the calm, tranquility, and understated whimsy of the ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ nursery. It would be a special place to grow with our little one and allow his/her personality to shine through. So far our nursery is just a cot in a room full of non-baby bits and pieces – would love to develop it into a happy, serene, twinkle room.
Coopers nursery is fresh, simple and not too cluttered yet still warm. It would suit the boy or girl in my tummy right now. Will find out in 2 weeks what it is!
Brydie’s Nursery for my little wild child, It has all the perfect elements and when she gets a-cryin she’s as loud as an elephant!
Charles’s nursery is a wonderful creative and stimulating room that will just delight my daughter’s imagiantion and exlporation of the world. She loves maps and this is perfect
Andy’s Whimsical Nest for my little one. For a relaxing space with beautiful playful details like those babushkas and birds. A place to dream.
Hugh’s nursery has an air of sophistication from the beautiful pale blue wall, apple tree motif and hanging owl mobile intertwined with boyish charm from the wooden train set and “boys toys” in the shelf!
Cooper’s nursery is the perfect animal world hideaway for my little guy – it’s a trip to the zoo to see our favourite animals that we can play with and dream with whilst asleep after our safari adventure!
Brydie’s nursery is so feminine, soft and polished without being over the top “girly girl” with princess and butterfly designs! It’s a room full of grace that my daughter will not our grow and the intricate detail is simply flawless!
Esters whimsical nursery!!!! Those bright and cheerful colours would make my daughter Ivy’s room a delight for her to Play and sleep in! Love the patterns and the wall tree! All just gorgeous!
Hugh’s Nursery is perfect for my little man, obsessed with animals, birds especially!
Indy’s whimsical nest. My little girl has the Habitat Baby cot sheet set, so this design board would be perfect!
Brydie’s Nursery, suits our as it’s the best match for our home, lots of lovely timber.
Hughe’s Nursery, calm, quiet and peaceful like our cool little customer who never groans or grizzles.
Coopers’s Nursery, looks a little cluttered to me…..so suits our little blokes current messy array or should I say disarray!
Hugh’s nursery is our pick. Got to admit we were swayed by the comfortable chair for mum and Paddington Bear.
Charlie’s nursery has such a calm and cooling impact – the nautical design reminds me of sailing the high seas on a boat and the Noah’s Ark toy adds to that seaside effect!
I have a heap of bits n pieces I’ve collected from wall stickers to linen to vintage toys from my grandfather – I just don’t know how to put it all together. I’d love to end up with a room just like Hugh’s nursery with perhaps a little more colour and interesting finds displayed (of which I have many!)
Brydie’s Nursery is beautiful and seems like it could be adapted to either gender!
Charles nursery would actually be perfect for my daughter. She was born in the UK, but obviously we’ve since moved back home. So the globe mobile, maps, London bus picture and toy soldiers are a perfect fit! I’m also keen on her knowing she can do anything and be anything – being a girl won’t limit her, the world is hers to explore!
Hugh’s nursery. I love those owls….and so does my baby…or more like, he WILL love them!
charlie’s nursery is my favourite, i just love the reading corner – simple but effective.
Hugh’s Nursery. Love the colours, the owls, the teddies, the whole look.
My little man would fit perfectly into this room (and his Mummy loves the look of the comfy chair).
Coopers nursery is my favourite! A shout out to my african roots…I especially love the giraffes on the mirror!
OH ME OH MY! How delicious are nests designs!? I could seriously ask my two year old to do her elephant impression all day… Who am I kidding, I do! And so Brydies Nursery would be so appropriate. Also- I desperately need to redecorate as I’m in the process of moving the baby in with the toddler… Surely the four month old can’t be far off a good elephant impression ;)
Hughs nursery as my little baby is nicknamed Owl as she has big blue eyes like an owl
I love the globe mobile for my son! He is always on the go, has a passport with stamps in it, and speaks three languages (English, Spanish and Mandarin)…he is truly a global child!
For my baby on the way – I love the Baby Elephant Walk. I do not know the gender of the baby and love the soft neutral colors and the animal theme. Adorable!
Indys whimical nest for my daughter who will soon get her own room as she currently shares with her baby sister-
Indy’s whimsical nursery is perfect to inspire creative dreams in my little one. It is just what we need to make the transition from our room into Charlotte’s own room fun, with plenty of colour and lots to look at Charlotte will be entertained for hours.
I love brydie,s nursery. It is very difficult to do a childs nursery with dark furniture and something that will grow with him. Nest design has pulled it off beautifully with brydie,s room .
I have twin boys and have taken inspiration from Charles nursery for the other room but need help with my other boy.
Love love Charles Nursery if only I could win this my dreams of a beautiful nursery would be fulfilled.
I love Hugh’s Nursery!
I’ve fallen for Brydie’s Nursery! I love the colour scheme, it’s restful and calm. I love the trees, they bring intrest and grow with baby. I love the elephants! (my oldest is Ella who loves elephants) and I believe they bring good luck. I just adore the paper lantern mobile. So lovely to see simple classic ideas done with some retro funky bent!
Mostly… our due early next year number 3 will just really need the items shown! Capsule and moses basket…. oh please help me!
Brydie’s Nursery in just beautiful (would suit me perfectly!!)
Brydie’s nursery- such a beautiful simple room that can grow with the child.
byrdies is the cutest
I like the sharp red of charles’
my little night owl would love hugh’s
Hugh’s nursery best suits our little owlet! The calm blue and punch of red are reminiscent of her personality; relaxed with a punch of pizzaz.
It’s vibrant and fresh and designed full of fun, Charles’ Nursery will stun everyone. Belinda’s the good witch by whose magic wand, wonderful nurseries appear in a room. So it’s Charlie for us, with our vote of love, for Nest Design Studio and Belinda to boot.
We love Charles’ nursery. I have two boys – 7month old and nearly 3 year old and I think this design is timeless and would last from baby through to teenagers. Love it!
Brydie’s Nursery is beautiful! After doing 2 nurseries for my two boys, I would love to have something beautiful like this if on the slim chance my next baby is a girl!!!
For me Charles’ bedroom with the world map mobile and super cute framed pics on the wall is my favorite! But they’re all super stylish!!
Charlies nursery is oh so cute
With soldiers lined up boot to boot
Little mobile of the world
Made from maps hand made and curled
Racing red and lovely white
Soothing restful crisp and bright
Tiny table, designer chairs
A cosy nook to cuddle bear
With playing done and books all read
My little Leroy goes to go to bed
I love Charles’ Nursery for my son Royal. I like that it is not gender specific and that it is a room and furnishings that can easily grow with him into adulthood.
I love the little nook next to the bed with books, kids love a little hide away spot that’s just for them.
I also like the travel details, globes, books about London and Paris, double decker buses and soldiers.
Royal was lucky enough to travel with us to London, Paris and Rome last year and we try to keep that experience alive for him. This room would really help.
Some days my son tells me he is a big boy and others days that he is only a little boy. This room allows him to be both.
Thank you,
Sarah Brady
I love the eclecticness of Esther’s nursery – a wonderful mish mash of beautiful designed pieces
Brydies Nursery for my little precious (whom is quiet, gentle, shy and relaxed) because the Nest Design Studio children’s room is calm yet warm and inviting with its subtle soft tones and traditional furnishings… a place perfect for her to feel loved and comforted and to ease her to sleep amongst the tranquility that the space brings.
I love Charlies nursery
Cooper’s Nursery would suit my jungle man,
my Edward to a T (that’s T for Tarzan)
Despite being for a boy, my daughter would love Hugh’s nursery – owls really peak her interest at the moment!
I LOVE Charles’ nursery! Always had a thing for nautical look and stripes and loud colours! The mobile is so cute too!!!
Hugh’s nursery would be so perfect for us! We are expecting a little boy and he will have to share a room with his big sister Matilda. We are struggling with how to make this work, but as the third child this is the way things have to be. Beautiful designs!!
I love them all, however I think the nursery designed for Cooper would suit my new little man, Nicholas.
Brydies nursery most suits Tillys personality. Placid and calm, but with hints of colour and adventure.
with three girls you get tired of pink I just love Brydie’s room, the use of the soft grey with the turquoise accents very girly and stylish and a color scheme that can grow with them
The motifs and bright colours in Ester’s Whimsical Nursery would suit our 2 cute, outgoing, imaginative, shiny girls!
What’s not to love out of any of them? But with our first due in September Bryde’s Room conveys the feeling we think we’ll need with the peacefulness of the trees, calm nuetral colours and splashes of fun! Elephants always seem to find thier way to us and the bababushka’s remind me of my grandmother.
Brydie’s nursery would best suit my daughter as it is filled with beautiful pieces that are symbolic of her personality. The babushka doll is an ode to her cultural heritage. Her favourite toy is a stuffed elephant with it’s trunk in the air that her Daddy gave her to bring good luck. So all the elephants in the room would be a big hit with daughter and daddy alike! I love the fact that the room has a chair that we can snuggle in during breastfeeds, and that the room is versatile and can grow with the child as they get older. Renee Samoluk
Charlies’s nursery is a truly beautiful room that (with a few adaptions) definitely suits our little girl. Her favourite colour is red, she already has a shoe collection to rival mine and an impressive library of well loved books. But what I really love is the maps & globes. She has grandparents, great-grandparents, friends and other relatives all over the world. The globe will be perfect to help show her where everyone is.
Please send Nest Design Studio to our home – I want her to know the world is a small place! Thanks, Tanya Richards
Brydie’s Nursery – soft, soothing with a medley of nature and chicky babe. Coolest bub in town is my Georgia!
I would love to win Charlie’s nursery. I love the colours, it’s such a beautiful room. I have a little one on the way, it would be ideal for me.
We love Brydie’s Nursery, Charlotte and Alex’s new baby brother or sister would love this room, so would Mummy, also Daddy collects elephants.
Hugh’s Nursery, Its got a bit of everything and our little man likes to have a bit of everything everywhere.
I love how all the rooms are so unique to suit each unique little person.
Brydie’s room would suit my little daughter best! I love how Belinda has made the neutral tones work so well with the dark wooden furniture. So many nurseries I see have white furniture – we have dark wood and it’s hard to find inspiration on how to make it beautiful with a dark wood look. This nursery is so light, fresh and airy and I love the tree wall decal which brings the outdoors in!
My daughter had an elephant theme for her first birthday and I love all the elephant touches in this room too – she loves animals and would adore it!
It is pretty, whimsical & fresh! We are moving into a new home and I’d love to win a design board to help with setting up my daughters new room!
These nursery’s are absolutely beautiful – but the one which i just adore is Hugh’s Nursery. I LOVE the tree, the pastel blue colour on the wall and the splash of bright red which has been used to spark creativity and imagination. We have tried to do the same in our little boys room – a tree with bright coloured birds and splashes of colour around the room – with help from Nest Design Studios we could really finish it off and create the most magical environment for our little one!
I love Hugh’s nursery, it suits my little night owl perferctly!
Hugh’s nursery would be great because he loves Hoot.
The green/aqua/charcoal room (looks like it is for a child named Andrew) would absolutely suit my son! The fresh, vibrant colours would match his personality and the maps would be lovely to symbolise his international family :)
Charlie’s nursery! Oh what style – Memories of London town, it’s been a long while… Since we’ve been home we added to our fam. How gorgeous to share our travel memories with our adorable little man.
Ester’s Whimsical Nursery – I like the colour palette but mainly the choice of design pieces help ignite a child’s imagination with beautiful motif’s designed from nature. I need HELP to design my son’s room for when he is a little older – his room is quite small in our 1950′s town house so I need advise on best use of space. This prize would be so incredibly helpful if I were chosen to win!
Chloe Torr. I really like the design “Brydie’s Nursery” as i love the dark wooden tones and the tree design in the background. It would suit my little baby girl’s room as it is a unisex design and looks very modern yet classic.
we love charlie’s room perfect for our grey room
my kids room is plain & boaring winning this pack would so spark it up :0)
OMG! This would be the ultimate prize and I would pick Indy’s Whimsical Nest as my daughter has the habitat cot sheets and everything else would just fall into place :)I would sit in there for hours…..lol
Brydie’s room – we have a lot of walnut, strongly coloured, antique furniture.
The Charles Nursury suits my boy as he is loves blue and red….and moneys!
Hughs nursery would be great in little Cooper’s room
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!!
Hughs Nursery : even though it would be for my girl this room suits her energy, her adventure & her love of animals & the slightly quirky. Love it!
I love Hugh’s Nursery, love the colour, the owls and trains
Twinkle Twinkle! I hope our beloved first baby due this spring will be lucky enough to have something so classically beautiful created for her. Lots of natural neutral tones, girly but not a hint to pink. Gorgeous.
def hugh’s nursery for my son, classy and cute at the same time
Indy’s Whimsical Nest would be the perfect room in which the twins can rest.
As we rent we would no be able to have this, but it would be a lovely present for one of our good friends who are expecting :o)
It’s definitely hard to decide which style I love most – they are all absolutely gorgeous!
Since I have to pick one though, I think the winner would have to be Charlie’s room.
I love that the funky red chair serves as a nursing chair when baby is little, and then as a reading/maxin’ & relaxin’ chair for when he is older!
I also like that it can be tailored for either a boy or girl and will still look awesome when our little bubba grows up!
Indy’s Whimsical Nest suits my daughters style as it’s pink and girly, bright and cheerful, creative, whimsical and yet has relaxing peaceful tones to it also.
Charles Nursery for my little explorer.
He will need many maps throughout his life to guide him through his adventures.
Yes I need this! My little guy is already 9 weeks old and I’m running behind the eight ball.
Brydie is perfect! My daughter Kyan (2 years and 9 months) co-sleeps and shares a room with her older brother. With a room like this, it will be easier to have her sleep on her own with lots of elephant buddies to keep an eye on her. It suits her girly personality and will continue to suit when she grows older. The colour palette is very soothing too, something she needs (she was just diagnosed with ASD) and we’re right in the thick of specialist appointments and intervention so meeting lots of people and getting a bit stressful for her.
Hugh’s nursery would suit either of our boys given it’s serenity and tranquility. I also like how the style is restful yet playful – how a bedroom should be!
Esters Whimsical Nursery is Bold and funky
Just like my little Miss Mimi Rose Monkey!
A quaintly devised retreat away from 4 brothers
She’ll love the wondrous, amazing bright colours!
I would have to say Hughs Nursery. I am loving owls big time at the moment.
I just love Charles’ nursery and am in the process of designing a room for my two-year old who needs to move out of the nursery and into his “big boys bedroom”! We live in Perth and I feel a little starved of options over here, so any help is very much needed and this would be the greatest prize in the world for me at the moment!
just beautiful! brydies is so calming and i would love to sleep in that room!
Brydies! such a beautiful design for my beautiful baby girl.
How to choose just one?! Couldn’t go past Charles’ nursery – what better way to invite my daughter to explore the world around her than with a room inspired by maps of the world, animals and a little bit of England. Amazing!
I can just imagine my son being surrounded by everything from Hugh’s nursery, magical and totally transforming.
Brydie’s nursery is my favorite. The colors are very neutral and the trees give the room a peaceful feeling. I love elephants, they mean so many different things. Happiness, Power & Reliability. =)
brydie’s nursery because i thought my baby needs to sleep in between mom and dad. but we are wrong we need to get her a cot in her own room for some relief.
Brydie’s Nursery is girly and soothing. It would save us from these horrible wall decals that are peeling off from the white walls…
The Twinkle Twinkle board is my favorite! All the boards are amazing. Can’t wait to hear the winner!
Charles Nursery is just perfect, even for my little girl. It’s stylish, neutral with colourful accents and will suit her jet-setter ways already.
Brydie’s nursery is oh so cute, a perfect match for our design!
The most serene colours, textures and decor all align,
To make the ultimate nursery for our little girls or boys.
Gentle tones encouraging a soothing atmosphere with beautiful little toys
I would be grateful to win this prize,
So grateful- more than you would realise!
