As if we needed to justify our obsession with this glorious company, along comes new bedding to blow us away. We spotted these lush linens from Love Mae at Kids Instyle Sydney in February and were delighted with the feel and look. They’re made from super soft organic jersey cotton, and they look divine.

The linen is available in sizes to fit cots, single beds and king single beds. The cot options include sheet sets, fitted sheets and bumpers*. There are three graphic options – Flower for the girls, Dinosaur Dreaming for the little men, and the subtle and sublime Sleeping in the Clouds – which is a versatile unisex print.

*Please see the Sids and Kids guidelines on how to dress both baby and the cot for optimum safe sleeping conditions.

The cot sheet sets ($119.95) fit standard and Boori cots, as do the fitted cot sheet twin packs. If you’re keen on completing the look with a cot bumper, they’re available for $139.95, and are reversible. The cot quilt/play blanket is perfect for tummy time, and snuggling down once baby is old enough to have a quilt. It’s $189.95, and comes with a pillow case.

Love Mae has also launched a sleeping bag line, aimed at babies from six to eighteen months. They’re just as soft and eye-catching as the cot sets, and are $79.95. For the older kids, the sheet sets come in both single and king single. There’s also a clever Camper option, which is a snuggly sleeping bag, for $149.95.

By far, the most eye-catching items of the line are the aptly-named Scales duvet covers. With their distinctive scalloped edge, they have a definite contemporary edge, with a timeless feel. The girls’ duvet comes in the sweet Dreaming of The Theatre design, the boys’ option is titled Chasing Dragons. They cost $229.95 – and can be ordered through Love Mae.

  1. It really baffles me that people still buy, sell and promote cot bumpers when they so blatantly go against safe sleeping standards. Why are we putting style ahead of our children’s safety?

The rest of the stuff is cute but every time I just see bumpers I just get annoyed.

  2. i so totally get annoyed when i see bumpers we are told NOT to use bumbers and i think an australian company should be more aware of the sids guide lines we should be more concerned on the health and well being of our children rathern than how cute our babies cot looks and im all for georgious things but noy at the expense of my baby.
