A few months ago we showed you the darling range of cushions from La cerise. We’re now thrilled to reveal some of the beautiful collection is heading to our shores. Polka dots, paisley and prints with a hint of nostalgia thrown in… I’m totally enamoured. La cerise (which translates to “cherry on top” – divine!) is the beautiful creation of Anne Hubert. She has a fondness for living life with gusto and that’s translated in spades to her French-made linen.
The range is many and varied, drawing inspiration from fairy tales to Wong Kar Wai movies. Memories of polaroid images, Rinko Kawauchi photos and holiday souvenirs make for an eclectic collection, which is made cohesive by the use of repeated patterns and colours. Polka dots create a playful background for a circus elephant, while other pieces are adorned with a ball-balancing seal or pairs of shoes.
This exquisite collection includes duvet cover sets, cushions, baby sleeping bags, bibs, children’s aprons and comforters. And here’s the most exciting part of all – Minibots will begin stocking La cerise sleeping bags and playmats in November. Oh the joy! The sleeping bags will range in price, from $130 for the smaller sizes to $150 for the larger sizes. The playmats will cost $165.
