Dwell Baby
create gorgeous contemporary graphic baby and children’s bedding and linen goods.  Incredibly stylish and coming in a beautiful soft palette of colours, their modern designs are anything but twee.  The Dwell Studio collection starts from crib size (including Stokke sized), to regular single, queen and king sized bedding.

They also have an extensive range of accessories available in their prints – anything from wall art to hooded towels and cushions.  You can deck out the whole cot or bed in their linen or just a few accessories to bring the room a more modern style.  Particularly great if you have a clean blank canvas for your nursery design, they will certainly add a wow factor to a room.

Already very popular and established in the US with celebs and mere mortals, the range is now a lot more accessible to us thanks to Luxury Labels who are the Australian stockists.  Go to their site, check out the entire Dwell catalogue and start creating a stunning room for your baby.  They have a list of retail and online stockists on their site to make purchasing a breeze.

I love mobiles.  I can think of few things more relaxing than just enjoying a little piece and quiet when little one goes off to sleep than just lying back and watching the gently movement of a mobile as it catches the gently breeze....Little people love them for pretty much the same reason and it’s certainly a great tool to calm a restless baby down.  Quilt Baby carry a gorgeous range of contemporary mobiles made of brightly coloured die-cut foam hand wired and hung from mono filament thread.  Not limited to just a nursery, put them up in any part of the house that catches a light breeze.  Available in two (orange and blue) colourways, the orange and chocolate colour combo will add a visual ‘pop’ to any room.

Along with modern mobile, take a look at their beautiful retro inspired onesies.  Lovingly handcrafted with appliquéd animals, birds, trees, flowers, stars and fruits in vintage fabrics looking stunningly fresh and graphic against the 100% cotton white onesies, available in long (US$24) or short sleeved (US$18).

Mobiles cost US$46 and can be ordered on the Quilt Baby website. Many of the range is now availble in Australia at Jive Baby with bibs for $19.95 and onesies starting at $29.95.

Always on the lookout for contemporary mobiles, Wallter have now added to their existing range of interior products (we have previously featured their wall applications in September) with five very cool mobile designs.

Made of lightweight powder coated steel, they are all adjustable in terms of height and hang from an mounting placed to your ceiling.  The Teardrop and Saucer mobiles would look particularly great in a room with high ceilings and hanging just low enough from the ground that little hands cannot reach– it offers great visual impact to a room.  The Butterflies would be a pretty addition to any girls’ rooms.

Coming in either all white or in colour combos of Olive, Red, Blue and Orange, you can find one to best suit your decor with long and short styles available.  Priced from US $70 at Wallter.
