We took our boys to the performances and workshops last year and we’re thrilled it’s on again! The Sydney Children’s Festival starts on 27 September and the 2010 line-up promises to be better than ever.
The event is easily accessed by public transport so your children can take part in a plethora of activities tailored just for youngsters. I know we’ll be first in line to see the Grug performance as the books are a hit in our house. Meet native animals, watch a marionette performance, sing along with the band Tea Party and relax to some storytelling.
Get involved and get creative with circus, crafting and cartooning workshops. Learn to crochet, see what creatures live in compost and make your own book, costume and jewellery. Some activities are ticketed events and many are free!
It’s a fun-packed event and you will want to make your very own schedule so see the full program at the Sydney Children’s Festival website.
We have a family pass valued at $70 for four people to the Whoa Tilly’s Tea Party to give away. To enter email us and tell us in 25 words or less why you want to go to this event. Only one entry per person. Entires close Tuesday 21 September at midnight. The winner will be notified by email.
