Pink’s daughter starts kinder, and dad Carey Hart gives us all the feels
Get ready for your daily dose of naaw – Pink and Carey Hart’s gorgeous girl Willow is off to kindergarten, and it’s got her daddy all nostalgic. He shares his feelings on the speed at which his five-year-old is growing up, and the guilt of missing her first day of school.
While in the southern hemisphere, we’re winding down the third school term of the year, up in the US summer vacation has just drawn to a close and a new school year has begun. And like millions of other little ones, Willow Sage Hart has taken her first steps into formal education. Her motorcycle-racer dad Carey posted a beautiful image of he and Willow strolling hand in hand, with some poignant words.
He explains, “Days like today is what makes my line of work really hard. Willz first day of kindergarten, and I’m boarding a plane.”
And, like pretty much every parent who ever lived, he lamented just how quick his girl is growing up. “It seems like just last month I was feeding her banana and avocado for breakfast, and today she grabbed her lunch box and went off to school.” Finishing off with a hat-tip to his super-star wife, Carey said, “I hit the lottery with my family. Enjoy the day Willz, the years will fly by like the last five have for me. I love you and your mama so much. You cooked a good one Pink.” Oh man, you got us good Carey!
Little Willow and her dad have a pretty awesome relationship – she actually helped him get ready for his latest tour, by getting on the tools – what a little champ!
