I am the ultimate Facebook tragic. Having been a member since its inception, I love it more than many things – it’s social, it’s fun and it’s something a parent can embrace from the comfort of a living room between feeds and housework and all the other demands of running a family.
Many of us use it to record the day to day of our lives and to show pictures to loved ones near and far. It has become so important to millions of people and is reminiscent of a diary; the kind you used to keep as a kid.
A couple of brilliant minds have come up with the idea of making our Facebook exploits into a book – it’s called Yearly Leaf and captures a full year’s worth of pictures, status updates and other activity from your Facebook wall. It looks like a Moleskine and seems superb quality for a lifetime of memories. Co-founder Mark A. Michael explains, “Through the Yearly Leaf Facebook app you can turn posts, pictures, status updates and check-ins into a printed luxury bound book”.
You can reserve yours by registering at Yearly Leaf – further details are yet to come regarding pricing and shipping.
