Update – Yearly Leaf Facebook book, now shipping

Update Yearly Leaf Facebook book, now shipping

We’d be a lot more excited if they were shipping internationally (don’t worry, we’ve contacted them!), but it’s our duty to let you know that Yearly Leaf, the company which will condense a year’s worth of your Facebook activity in a beautiful bound book, is now set up and ready to go.

We think it would be a cinch to arrange international post for a non-returnable item and we have word from them that international shipping will be available in the future. For now, international customers can still order and enjoy a digital copy. We first told you about Yearly Leaf in September 2011.

Many of us use Facebook to record the day-to-day of our lives and to show pictures to loved ones near and far. It has become so important to millions of people and is reminiscent of a diary; the kind you used to keep as a kid.

A couple of brilliant minds have come up with the idea of making our Facebook exploits into a book – it captures a full year’s worth of pictures, status updates and other activity from your Facebook wall. The book looks like a Moleskine and seems superb quality for a lifetime of memories. Co-founder Mark A. Michael explains, “Through the Yearly Leaf Facebook app you can turn posts, pictures, status updates and check-ins into a printed luxury bound book”.

Order yours from Yearly Leaf for US$49 but you’ll need to have a contact in the US or arrange a reshipper at this stage, or be content with the digital copy. We’ll let you know when they open up shipping of the printed versions to the rest of the world.
