Every so often you spot something online that totally tickles your fancy. Starfield grabbed me.
Described as an ‘installation’, Starfield is a clever combination of Kinect, a swing and a video projector. Start swinging and you’ll find yourself flying through a galaxy of stars, controlled by the rhythm of your swinging. You can also turn it into a 3D experience – wow, flying through the stars!
Obviously Starfield is not something you can rig up with a white sheet, a rope swing and a spare hour but nonetheless, it’s fabulous – wish I could give it a try.
