We’re off to the UK so that my little ones can meet my Grandparents. I’m really looking forward to catching some special photographs of the kids with my Grandparents as I think it may be the first and last time they get to see them. I also want to be able to leave my Grandparents with some lovely photo’s for them to remember our trip.

We are always taking photos. Everyday shots are often the best don’t you think? I find posed photos lovely but much prefer to capture my little man’s expressions whils paddling in his pool, throwing a ball, blowing out candles or blowing bubbles. Thank you!
I had been thinking of having professional photos of the kids done for a pressie for my husband’s 40th in March. I’m scrimping and saving, but how much better (and more personal) would it be if I could take them myself!

I spend hours taking snap shots of my children with my parents, as my mom has a terminal illness, with my children so young, I don’t want them to ever forget her. But she is so self conscious about the redness of her face due to her illness, I would LOVE to learn how to edit them so she would feel more comfortable having her photo taken.

I’m pregnant with my second child and have a baby-obsessed toddler. I cannot wait to capture the first moments when my girl realises she’ll have her own completely real baby to take home and play with, let alone all the intimate moments the two will share.
My granma’s 90th birthday this year. She is the only great-grandparent, and my mother the only grandparent, to my little girl. Precious memories of four generations of strong women in our family.
Our first baby is due in just two months time, and I so want to make sure that I capture as many of those precious early days as possible! It is especially important to me that we try and capture this time in pictures, as my husbands family are on the other side of the world, and mine all around Australia and New Zealand.

The birth of baby number 4!
Every occation is an excuse for capturing memories, First smiles, First steps, Birthdays, First day of School.. All The Firsts are special to me! Oh who am i kidding, Everyday!
I just dropped my grandma off at the airport and she would have loved to have met her first great-grandchild, but her visa expired and I’m still a few weeks away from my due date. So I would love to be able to take photos of my newborn, so that I can send them to her, and let her know that despite the distance, she can watch her great-grandchild grow up.
I love capturing snapshots of my children’s lives but I’d so love to take better photos! Our girls are getting christened soon – overseas in the little church their mum was christened in. And most importantly to me, it will be one of the few occasions in their life that their Scottish Nanna will ever get to share in. Mum is frail and needs a wheelchair now and we can’t get back very often. I desperately want to capture their time together as sadly they may be too young to remember their Nanna long term.

I have been overwhelmed with handmade items from great-grandmas, great aunts, and honorary aunts as gifts for my baby girl. Booties, mittens, beret, bonnets, beanies, emroidered clothing, blankets, and cardigans- handmade with such love and reminiscent of a bygone era. I have alrady taken some photos and have more to take, as a sincere thankyou for the thoughtfulness of such gifts, which will remain forever keepsakes of my daughters.

We have just had our son’s first brithday and I was relying on everyone else to take the photos for me…. Never again! While we did get some good shots, most were wither really wide, or cut the tops of my husband head, Or only hald the cake etc. I’ve deided to take a photography course so that I’m able to capture all our future events.
