While the kids may be more of a hindrance than a help in the kitchen, they can at least look the part with these adorable aprons.
I have a couple of home-made aprons for my boys, and while they do the job, there’s just one little problem – they don’t really help me when it comes to reducing the mess. Because, alas, they’re made from fabric so I’m bound to have extra washing regardless. It took a like-minded family to come up with these charming wipe-clean aprons.

Designed and handmade in Melbourne, Max and Ella have just launched their first collection of boutique aprons. For girls, there’s pretty polka dot options, in red or pink. While the boys (or girls) can choose from pirates or stars.

The aprons are made from cotton coated fabric, making them easy to wipe clean after cooking up a storm or crafting away the afternoon. They’re waterproof too, so are handy for helping to keep clothes dry during messy water play. Available in sizes to suit the smallest toddlers up to older children (eleven years plus), they’re $24.95 each with postage $6.95 per order from Max and Ella.
