Dressing up is a childhood institution that lends itself to imaginative
capers and trying out different personas. Merely putting on a
hat or mum's shoes can transport a child to another place and time far

to gallavant around my back yard pretending to be Monkey, with my
friends Pigsy and Tripitaka.
