Need to sort your Animalia from your Hungry Caterpillar? Or perhaps your Jamie Oliver from your Bill Granger? Either way, if your bookshelves are like mine (packed), then the very sweet Animal Index by Japanese designer Hiroshi Sasagawa will be very useful.

Use them to separate sections on your shelves or to mark the spot where you have taken a book out that needs to be returned to the correct place. They can also be put to good use in CD or DVD libraries.

The animal indexes are made from rigid felt and come in giraffe, pig or deer designs. Packs are US$23 and include the front and back of the animal. The Animal Index is available from Greengrass Design, who ship to Australia by arrangement.
