It’s a fun decor trend; apples, apples, apples – part 1

I’ve gone positively potty for apples in my home and I thought I’d share some of the finds I’ve been obsessively amassing over the past few months. Apples in all their forms add a cheery element to my decor – there’s nothing austere about my decorating, with splashes of orange and red everywhere. Yes, the apple was simply bound to become a dear and trusted decor friend!

Make the whole family smile, adding themes of the Sixties and Seventies which will thrill your folks and keep the kids entertained. Most of this gear is useful too – not many of us have the space for unending trinkets which don’t serve a purpose.

Above top left you’ll find the fab Apple Chalkboard Garden Stakes from Lark. Top right is the cute Lotta Kuhlhorn Apple Tea Towel, bottom left the Red Apple Tree Money Box and bottom right the Lotta Kuhlhorn Apple Coasters, all from Hus & Hem.

Apples are food so it seems a natural marriage between the theme and items concerning the kitchen! Above you’ll find lush Apple Dot Lunch Kits, in a pack of sandwich and snack sizes for US$20 from Etsy’s Cotton Top Quilts. Under those is the incredible, undeniably covetable Cast Iron Apple Pot, US$120 from Terrain.

We didn’t run short of apple products to show you and here are three more beauties! Top left is the very fabulous Apple Pillow, US$98 from Jonathan Adler. Top right is a beaut and very useful 50s Apples Canvas Bag from Jane Foster and at the bottom the new 3 Apples Wall Hook which is $29.95 from Moo Said the Cow. There are also some very sweet matching Apple Bookends for $32.95 (below).

Stand by for parts two and three of our Apple trend roundup!
