lovemae Is this the quickest way to put on a quilt cover?

The following post could change your life – or at the very least, end the struggle that is changing the quilt cover. Intrigued? Read on.

Putting on a quilt cover (or doona or duvet cover – depending on what you like to call it) on can be likened to trying to change a nappy on a struggling child. It’s necessary, but oh so time consuming, challenging and frustrating. We like to help make parent’s lives easier wherever possible, so allow us to show you the new-age, easy-as-pie way to put a fresh quilt cover on.

Think burrito. Yep, that’s right – it does take a food analogy to best explain this heaven-sent tutorial, but it works. With this method, it takes about two minutes to put on a clean quilt cover. Brilliant! Have a look at the tutorial below, and let us know – do you prefer the inside out method, the burrito – or do you have your own clever short-cut to changing the quilt cover?

  1. Can anyone tell me where the quilt covers are from in the photos? Love that scalloped look! And yeah, I try to change covers once a week but don’t have a tricky method, just shove it in & shake it out.
