What do you do when the parties you throw for your kids are so stunning in every way that the guests – and their parents – gasp in delight? You open up a party store, that’s what!

Remember the delightful Snow White birthday we featured in our party section a few months ago? Well Simone, the mum behind that particular bash, has rather nicely decided to share her knack for finding just-so party bits and pieces with the rest of us. Invite Me, the stationary design business she started after throwing in her graphic art job to raise her daughters, is now Invite Me, boutique partyware place extraordinaire.

Simone and business partner Amanda have stocked their online store with the sorts of things that dream parties are made of.  Of course, there’s Simone’s delightful invitations in dozens of different designs for boys and girls. But there’s also stunning cake stands and candy jars for creating picture-perfect sweets buffets, there’s mini glass bottles to go with the paper straws, there’s tableware with spots or without, beautiful fabric buntings, quirky tissue paper garlands and everything else imaginable for a supremely stylish celebration.

Once you’ve oohed and aaahed your way through the plethora of paper pompoms and cupcake wrappers, you’ll also find the most incredible array of party favours. Our particular favourites are the oversized carnival windmills pictured up top ($4.95) and the pretty pastel coloured ribbon wands below ($7.95 each), but there’s plenty more to take your fancy.

  7. I would love to win the boys party pack for my little boy who turns two in February. As our last child, and with a big age gap between him and his older brother and sister, my imagination and ideas bank is over-used and almost empty! This would kick start a plan for his party!

  8. I would love the boys pack. After a year of saying “yes you can have your 5th birthday at macdonalds”, we went to book his party only to find out they are no longer doing them at out local store. This would really help to give my son a even better party at the park than what Maccas would of been.
