What could be more satisfying than a good cuppa while helping raise desperately-needed funds for a national children’s charity?
We’ve loved our association with HeartKids Australia, so we’re keen as mustard to help spread the word about this wonderful charity’s next campaign.
One in every hundred children born in Australia is born with Childhood Heart Disease, and it’s one of the leading causes of infant death in this nation. So what can you do to help? It’s as simple as hosting a tea party.
During August and September, HeartKids is aiming to raise funds, and awareness of Childhood Heart Disease. Every single dollar of the proceeds from Cuppa For HeartKids goes towards supporting families who have a child with heart disease, and research into reducing the incidence of Childhood Heart Disease.
To host a tea party, just visit Cuppa For HeartKids and register. HeartKids will send you a pack, which includes balloons, posters and receipt books.

I am passionate about raising awareness about heart disease in children and the importance of Heartkids for those families struggling with it. That little cherub pictured above, is my heart kid, Chelsea, at 9 months. You can read more about her story, her adventures & what she’s up to now right here on my blog. http://katemason.blogs.com/kate/heartkids-fundraising/
