It’s no secret around these parts how much I love the FlexiBath. Now a great product has gone one better with the addition of a bath support for very small children.

Bathing a very small, very wriggly and very slippery baby is no mean feat. When my first child was a newborn I was so overwhelmed by the task that I abdicated completely and left it to my husband! Even with a great bath like the FlexiBath, parents need to keep a firm grip on squirmy bathers – which is where the new FlexiBath Support comes in.

Obviously you still need to be right there with a very watchful eye and hand, but a little bit of independent support in the bath can be the difference between a peaceful or stressful bathtime experience for everyone. The FlexiBath Support will hold babies up to eight kilograms and is designed to allow the baby to nestle comfortably in the scoop seat, without any uncomfortable wedges around the arms or legs. A rounded hook at the top of the Support fits snugly over the edge of the Flexibath, locking it securely in place.

The FlexiBath Support is available in white for $26.95, from Baby Village.

  1. I bought a flexi-bath after seeing it recommended on your blog and was extremely disappointed. It is very small, the sides are high and steep which makes it difficult to use and after the 3rd or 4th bath it leaked. While it’s great that it folds up it really was a waste of money for us.

  2. The Flexibath was one of my best purchases. We are still using it 19 months in. Now that we are expecting number 2, this is going on the shopping list!
