This ace mum wasn’t going to let a few pesky contractions get in the way of her usual fitness routine. Nu-uh. She squatted and lunged her way to a baby, instead!
My last #pregnancyworkout was at the hospital just hours before we met our gorgeous Madi Grace 🎀✨💕 We were on the ward waiting for contractions to ramp up and a delivery suite to become available so we could meet our sweet baby girl 👑🌸 Speaking of delivery suites, guess what – our little Madi Grace was born in the EXACT same room as Lachie and Sammy. The hospital is big and has over 20 delivery suites but it just so happened that they were all welcomed into the world in the same room 😍 how cool is that!!! #workout #pregnancy #inspirepregnancy #fitmom #fitmum #fitmomsofig #pregnancyexercise #fitpregnancy This video is exclusively managed by Caters News. Remember Anna Strode, the strong and energetic mum who totally owned her husband in that recent very-very-pregnant workout challenge?
Well, she’s BACK! She’s had her baby, and in true Anna style, she spent the early stages of her labour staying active and busting out a workout in the delivery suite. As. You. Do!
“My last #pregnancyworkout was at the hospital just hours before we met our gorgeous Madi Grace. We were on the ward waiting for contractions to ramp up and a delivery suite to become available so we could meet our sweet baby girl,” Anna wrote in her Instagram update.
The clip posted shows the Bubs2Bikinis mum busting out some rad moves beside the bed she’d soon deliver her baby in. As. You. Do!
Not only that, Anna revealed that the bed is the very same one her two older children – Lachie and Sammy – were born in! Newborn Madi Grace cleverly made it three in a row.
“Speaking of delivery suites, guess what – our little Madi Grace was born in the EXACT same room as Lachie and Sammy,” Anna wrote.
“The hospital is big and has over 20 delivery suites but it just so happened that they were all welcomed into the world in the same room. How cool is that!!!”
Super cool. That’s how cool. *nods*
Wow, what a day for little miss Madi Grace. She arrived into the world via vaginal birth at 8.18am on 7/07/17 💕🌟 I'll talk more about the birth in a dedicated post once we get out of hospital as even though the twins were also born vaginally both experiences were COMPLETELY different! This afternoon Madi met her big brothers Lachie and Sammy and they are both so incredibly smitten, they wouldn't stop hugging and kissing her and trying to hold her all on their own ❤️😍 I'm quite sore and completely exhausted and also quite emotional. I just hope I can be strong and brave enough to be the best mama possible to our gorgeous children. I know many mamas will relate to the fears and anxieties of adding another bubba to the family and I'm hoping by sharing my experiences you can find comfort in the fact that you're not alone. I must sleep now while I can between little Madi's feeds but I promise to keep you all updated. Thankyou for all your love and support ❤️😘 as always, you guys rock 🌟✨
“I’m quite sore and completely exhausted and also quite emotional,” Anna admitted in an update after the birth, sharing a shot of her beautiful new baby girl.
“I just hope I can be strong and brave enough to be the best mama possible to our gorgeous children.”
We’re 101 percent sure she’s up for the job.
Anna’s fans were also in awe of her energy and loved catching a glimpse of her true-to-form approach to birthing her baby. The enthusiastic and positive comments on her post were testament to this:
“What did they give you?!?!?! Lol. You may be one of the first to workout in the hospital. As soon as I showed up, I threw up in the lobby from my contraction,” one giggled.
“Your dance moves are everything ! Congrats!!” another posted.
“You have helped me stay in shape my entire pregnancy. I don’t know if I will have the strength to go as far as you did, you are just amazing and I can’t wait for the motivation and inspiration postpartum! Thanks!” one inspired fan wrote.
“Oh man, you are just so damn cool…how you managed to have that kind of energy right there in the hospital is unreal! You’re a rockstar!” another fan posted approvingly.
It’s so great to see people encouraging each other in such a wholehearted way, right? What a lovely change from the usual, often very fraught tone of social media comments.
Huge congratulations to this gorgeous family on their new little girl!
Heart = so incredibly FULL 🙌💕💙 aren't they just gorgeous!!! The three little best of friends 😍 Ok, so I'm just going to put my hand up 🙋 and admit I COMPLETELY UNDERESTIMATED how hard it was going to be by welcoming a newborn with twins that had just turned 2! Yes, I knew it was going to be hard but my anxiety levels when I think about hubby going back to work are NEXL LEVEL 😨😢 I know we will adjust, it's only been 5 days since Madi joined us in this world but WOW what a whirlwind the last 5 days have been! I've cried, then I've laughed then I've cried a little more. There's moments when it seems impossible but then there's the teeny tiny moments that are few and far between but I think 'I can do this' and they're the moments I've got to hold onto. 5 days in ~ just need to remind myself that it will take time but trying to be positive is what will help get us through ✨🌸 Lachie and Sammy's super snug sleeping bags are by @ergopouch 💙
Still pregnant guys 👋💕 And to celebrate hitting 40 WEEKS PREGNANT I made hubby do another #pregnancyworkout with me 💦💪 This time I made his 'baby' heavier by strapping a heavier medicine ball to him because let's face it, bubs has grown 😉 His response when I asked him how it feels… "IT HURTS" 😂 Hehe come on toughen up babe! … Fair to say watching this makes me laugh so hard it might actually finally send me into labor 😂⚡️💦💕👶🏼 #workout #homeexercises #coupleworkout #fitmomsofig #fitpregnancy #homeworkout #partnerworkout @squats
