Pre-baby you probably relied on your iPhone to schedule appointments, check work emails and track expenses. And then baby arrived and somehow all the things you once needed to know immediately can wait while you try to manage having a shower before midday.
Thankfully, there is an iPhone application for everything, including ‘managing’ a new baby. As the name implies, the Baby Super Tracker turns your iPhone (or iPod Touch) into the equivalent of a parent’s log book. I recall a midwife kindly explaining to me how to keep track of the number of feeds ("Right side or left side, dear? Write it down!"), nappy changes and sleeps my new baby had. The system fell apart after three days at home because my old-style paper diary couldn’t handle the lengthy hieroglyphics I was continually jotting down.
The Baby Super Tracker keeps track of all the essentials and figures out when the next nappy change, feed or sleep is likely to occur. The application also includes pop-up alerts, a system to record medical notes, appointments and ordering supplies (no more getting caught with only two nappies left in that jumbo box!).
When it comes to babies, I think you’re either a schedule person or you’re not. For those that are, and especially for nervous first-time parents, the Baby Super Tracker might just become your new best friend.
The Baby Super Tracker is available via the iTunes App Store, if your search for it on your iPhone for $8.99.
While you are there, check out the other baby apps, including the Baby Care Log ($1.19), the Baby Aide ($3.99). and also he Baby Tracker: Nursing for $9.99, it is a terrific investment for new mums who are breastfeeding.

Wow, this looks great. It’s not going to help my iPhone addiction though!
Hi Moms! I am a San Francisco mother of two young babies (6 months and 22 months!)
My husband and I just launched an iPhone app for parents called Baby Brain – it was just featured in Forbes.
We teamed up with delivery nurses and created the iPhone app we needed as new parents to log, analyze and share feedings, diapers, and sleep with just a tap.
We’re getting great reviews (almost all 5-star), press and feedback, as well as support from pediatricians, doulas, delivery/pediatric nurses, etc.
I would be honored if you might consider checking it out. Thanks so much!
Best,
Jackie
