Who knew cork could be used to create something as stylish as this distinctive child’s stool.
Sydney-based Tiny Kiosk is all about designer pieces, with a purpose. The Quincy Kids Stool fits the bill perfectly, with its unique styling and genuine usability. The stool is made from quality Portuguese cork, precision crafted and hand sanded. It’s finished with a mix of linseed oil and beeswax, making it both durable and impermeable by water.

I love that their kids’ stools are beautifully tactile. So different to most kid furniture. What child wouldn’t be enamoured by it? It has no sharp corners, and can be positioned at two different heights. Depending on which way you use it, it measures at either eighteen or twenty-four centimetres high. It’s also suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The Quincy Kids Stool is manufactured in Australia and New Zealand, costs $250, and is available directly from Tiny Kiosk. You’ll be in exclusive company if you manage to get your hands on one, with a first edition run of just thirty stools.

If the stool measures 180cm or 240cm, the children in the photo are VERY tall! ::-)
Is it just me or does it look like a toilet?
You got us! Indeed a typo was made (no need to fear giant sized children!) and all fixed now. :)
the design of these are great!
