There was a short stunned silence when I first laid my eyes upon this far from conventional baby bed. And then I had three words to describe it – one being weird and the others being utterly amazing.

The Bubble Bed by Lana Agiyan has serious futuristic appeal and is a far cry from traditional nursery finds. While the acrylic globe won’t be everyone’s style choice, there’s no denying it’s an amazing design.

The Bubble Bed rocks gently and returns to its upright position due to a weighted centre. You can easily prevent the rocking motion if baby is already asleep by using a soft stopper to stabilise the bed. Designed as a cradle for infants aged up to five months, it can continue its life in the nursery as a swing or toy storage.

  6. would be a waste of money for me, we have plenty of newborn baby bed options with two boys here already, but if i had no kids yet, i’d love this!!! It would be an awesome seat later perhaps, or at least a cool place to store toys!

  9. Ooh… I’m using the Miyo Hammock and honestly believe that’s why our baby is such a good sleeper and a great baby. I would definitely been keen to have bought this if it was available for us when Kate was new born.
