  40. Bub #1 is on the way and as a first time Mum I am worried about how I’ll cope if I have a bub that doesn’t want to sleep or settle. I have a back injury so baby wearing is looking unlikely and would love to get a hammock so I can settle and rock my new baby without aggrivating my injury. The fact that it’s compact and can be packed up to take with you is fantastic! I live in Adelaide while all my family is in Sydney so being able to take the Amby Baby Hammock with us when we visit is much more ideal than having to buy a cot/portacot to keep up there.

While I’ve not had the chance to use one myself, I can’t wait to get an Amby Jump Jump. My niece had one and LOVED it! It made life easier for my sister as my niece could easily entertain herself jumping about while my sister caught up on housework.

  42. Our little man loves to swing!! The hammock would be ideal in those busy times when dinner needs to be organised, or even an overdue shower is a must!! He would feel so safe and secure and would give me the time to get organised!! He would also love the Amby snuggler (looks so cosy and warm!) and perfect for our bassinet and pram! I would LOVE to win this prize – a useful and much needed addition to our nursery!!

  47. As a soon to be first time mum, who has seen so many tired mums with very tired arms, this would be amazing! I recently had my gall bladder out (during pregnancy as it would have ruptured and caused early labour) so this prize seems like such a practical helping hand. I also love the jump jump, what a clever attachment for bouncy babies!

  48. Ohhhh how I LOVE these hammocks!!
My newborn little girl has terrible reflux and colic. We are seeing a chiro to try and relieve some of her pains but she can still be quite unsettled at time. It’s heartbreaking!
I have looked into these products before and would love to own one which will hopefully help my little girl with her pains! Plus – the maneuverability of this item means I can bring her out of her room during the day to spend time with the family whilst being safely out of the way of our older daughters feet!
The sheet sets would also be a lovey addition to the item
    :)
    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

  49. Having a newborn and a 3yo daughter this beautiful toy would get a work out in any form! My 3yo could scoot around the house on her adventures (it would be funny seeing her follow me to the toilet on one of these hehe) and my newborn would no doubt enjoy rocking away on it when she is bigger!
    They could play together :)

  54. I would have adored an Amby Baby hammock for my daughter Isla, who is 10 months old. Her sleep is awful, I think a hammock would have been the answer. Now, I find myself 8 weeks pregnant with #2, and I’m determined to give the Amby a try for this baby. The only other Amby product I have is the sleep comforter, loaned to me by a friend for Isla when she had a brace on for Hip Dysplasia. It was great. I’d love to win this Amby Baby Hammock.

  55. My sister just had her baby 13 weeks early and is having a really hard time. Id love to give this to her as a welcome home gift when she finally brings her little boy home.

  56. As we await our rainbow baby, we have been planning #6 nursery. As this is our last baby hubby is hesitant to buy something like the Amby when we have never used one before. I love everything about them and it would definitely be loved here by this busy mum with 6 under 5! Match this with the sheet set and you have a gorgeous bed no baby would cry about.

  57. Waking every hour or so every night for the past few months, my baby needs to be soothed to sleep and the amby baby hammock might just get me enough hours sleep to fill my boobs back up enough to keep him happy.
I’d also love the jump jump for my jumping bean.

    Posted .
  58. It looks stylish and safe and that would be perfect to put in our living area so that our baby can join the rest of the family during the day

    Posted .
  59. My bubba won’t settle unless she is moving or with me, this would mean i get more time to do the house work and i would get the mosquito net to go with to protect her from the bugs.

    Posted .
  60. We would benefit from this as we had a baby last Sunday and it looks like it would keep her happier than the bassinet. I also love the Amby Mosquito Net, mozzies can get pretty bad here

    Posted .
  61. i would love this for baby number three to be ; ) my big boy in his bed, my baby of the family in his cot, and their new little brother whose still on his way would be so close and safe next to his mama and dada. and the snuggler would just add to the luxury :)

  62. The limited space of my sydney city apartment makes for so many challenges in finding great items that would work and this looks perfect. Also the ability to travel with it is a must. The mosquito net would the other must buy product for when we are at grandma’s country place.

    Posted .
  63. i have only recently discovered these hammocks and wish i had known about them for my first child who was a non sleeper (still is!). it would be fantastic for no. 2 due in a few months if they are anything like no. 1!! i love that the jump jump as well, much better than attaching them to a door frame!!

    Posted .
  64. There looks to be plenty of ladies who need this more than me so this isn’t an entry but I would just like to say this is a beautiful product!

    Posted .
  65. I’m pregnant with #6 and I am tired of cots, bassinettes, rockers, bouncers, monitors, portacots and carrycots. I live in a small house and make do with what little space we have so discarding all the unnecessary “things” would be a massive win for us and having e new baby’s permanent bed a portable one would help enormously! There would be so many more benefits for us in owning an Amby but I think the space saving and mobility of the Amby would be the biggest of them.
Thank you for a great comp, I am sure it will be a massive help to the winner and good luck to all the other entries :)

    Posted .
  66. A lot of the other mums in my mothers group are getting board because they can’t fill the time in the day. I have the opposite problem because my little boy won’t let me put him down. The Amby baby hammock would at least give me hands free time to get a few things done. And then when he is a bit older we could use the frame for a Amby jump jump! We have an open plan house so we need a jump jump with a frame

    Posted .
  67. We could turn from zombies back into normal people after getting some sleep. The Amby Jump Jump would sure keep her entertained too!

    Posted .
  68. Instead of the baby bonus, the government should give each new mum an amby baby hammock. Now that’s handy!!

    Posted .
  69. I’m due for my third little bub in two weeks and my first two were not good sleepers. I’m expecting much of the same with this one. This gorgeous baby hammock could be the answer to my sleep prayers!!!

    Posted .
  70. I having been looking at the Amby Hammock ever since I found out I was pregnant. I’ve been watching my sister-in-law trying desperately to sooth and settle her collicky baby and having no luck. Hubby & I would love to have an Amby Baby Hammock rather than a bassinet or cot so we can lessen the channce of going through something similar. As we live over the road from a lake I think the mosquito net would also come in very handy =)

    Posted .
  71. I think the Amby hammock is a wonderfull idea as my baby loves slow movemment as it helps relax her and id go the Amby mosquito net for those hot evenings and nights and know that she can sleep soundly with out being bitten crazy.

    Posted .
  72. expecting #1 and on the lookout for hammocks, this one is at the top of our list. I’d have to go with the Amby mosquito net as the perfect compliment to the hammock.

    Posted .
  73. I’m on 4 hours sleep every night for the last 5 months…my princess has an uncanny knack to sense when she’s about to be put down instead of walked and rocked. This would aide in my sanity’s recovery and also whatever is left of my husband’s as well!

    Posted .
  74. We’d love an Amby Baby Hammock here so we can be cool in summer, and snug in winter, and is the only natural transition from the womb to the outside world. Only then will we sleep sound, long and blissful.

    Posted .
  75. This Hammock would mean peace & quiet for the whole family instead of constant screaming as background noise! Also loving the Amby Jump Jump for a wild time jumping!

    Posted .
  76. We’ve had 2 reflux/difficult to settle babes and so are anticipating this for #3 due soon as well. An Amby baby hammock would be a sleep and sanity saver! I love their mozzie net too, which would be an essential at our place.

    Posted .
  77. The Hammock would mean serenity and sanity for the entire family with a sound-asleep baby! With a Mosquito net, we could sleep in the great outdoors!

    Posted .
  78. An Ambry hammock would be ideal for soothing for our very refluxy infant who desires constant movement! By adding the mosquito net it could sway in the fresh breeze, allowing Mummy and 19 month old big brother, time to reconnect together in the garden while picking vegetables for dinner.

    Posted .
  79. With baby number 2 on the way it’ll be a great help with getting them off to sleep while trying to keep little miss happy!

    Posted .
  80. This is my favorite prize so far!! The hammock and jump jump just look like so much fun!

    Posted .
  81. Amby products are simply beautiful as well as being practical and wonderfully made. An amby hammock with a beautiful white fitted sheet set would be perfect in my son’s nursery when he arrives in July. As I am a first time mum, I am not quite sure what to expect – but since my mum has so helpfully advised me that I never slept as a baby, I am expecting the worst. This gorgeous and clever piece of furniture is sure to help me if my son turns out to be a cat-napper like me and if he doesn’t it’ll be a gorgeous place for him to sweetly dream the day away!

    Posted .
  82. Was never going to marry, then found the one.
Married and moved into his newly completed bachelor pad.
Told couldn’t have children but blessed with one.
Bachelor pad, for two, not too bad.
    But for three a squeeze.

    Gave everything baby related away….

    But blessing two has arrived.
Bachelor pad for four, out the door!!
Now husband building a bedroom for our newborn

The benefit of being able to set up Amby Baby Hammock downstairs whilst husband works upstairs would be just lovely. The second Amby product we would appreciate is the mosquito net. Completing baby’s safety from the insects and mossies.

Hammock would arrive just in time as baby just out of bassinet, and would be beautiful in our baby’s new room. Baby is little and would get many months out of this product. Our family would benefit by being able to set up underneath the house whilst new bedroom being built, being able to set up where ever we are so baby is getting maximum interaction with us.

  83. With bub numbers 2 & 3 only weeks away I’m terrified that they’ll be shocking sleepers like my little man-especially with my husband working at sea. This amazing product would also let me place one bub down in a comfy and safe place whilst I could cuddle the other 2. It’s like a Fairy Godmother- warm, loving, supportive and can make all your wishes come true. Also love the snuggler-I had something similar for my son after I found him against the side of the bassinet. Both products would help me be a more relaxed and thus happier mum.

    Posted .
  84. I was lent an Amby Hammock for number 1!
A life saver with a happy baby and mum!
Sadly it was time to return it to the giver,
the thought of number 2 due and no hammock gave me a shiver!
Turns out it just may be my day!!!!
    Hooray, Hooray!!

    Posted .
  85. My new baby boy would love the amby baby hammock pack. It would settle and sooth him and I could keep it in our room, so he is close. I also love the Amby jump jump. Looks like loads of fun :)

    Posted .
  86. I will have 3 under 2years old in a few months and the Amby will make me feel like there is another adult in the house. The jump jump would be a great attachment to the frame. This looks wonderful!

    Posted .
  87. My som’s daycare uses one to get him to sleep. With baby no 2 just born, I’d love one for home!

    Posted .
  88. So many of the books I read before bubba arrived said ‘don’t rock, they will become dependent on it’! I tell you if I didn’t do a little rocking to help sooth my bubba I would be pulling my hair out by now! In addition the hammock is gorgeous! What more could you ask for!

    Posted .
  89. With baby number 3 on the way an Amby hammock would make a world of difference in helping my bubba sleep whilst the other two boys get some much needed mum attention. The mosquito net would be the best addition so that I can watch the baby whilst the kids play outside.

    Posted .
  90. I desperately wanted one of these for bub number 1 but unfortunately couldn’t stretch the budget. Settled for hand me downs but my restless bub I’m sure would have benefitted from this so much! (so would have I) Now bub number 2 is on the way and I’m worried it’s going to be just like the first time. This would be a godsend! Also love the jump jump! Too much fun!

    Posted .
  91. Last Sunday I sold our old cot and threw out the last of the baby lot.
This Sunday I found out #3 is on the way what a surprise on this sunny day!
So back to square one I go a clean slate and 2 fantastic helpers Miss 3 and 5. So an Amby would do the trick of keeping babe safe, snug and cocooned and gently rocking…gently gently gently

    Posted .
  92. My boy doesn’t have an easy time getting to sleep or staying asleep. We love the precious moments where he falls asleep in our arms but sometimes it would be so lovely to have him soothe him back to sleep peacefully. This beautiful hammock looks like the answer!

    Posted .
  93. The Amby Baby Hammock would help so much with my daughter’s reflux AND my lower back problems. It’s a beautiful piece for the nursery, and would also be used instead of a portacot when going out! Used with the Amby Snuggler, I’m confident that I could have my bed back to myself once again! What a dream that would be!

    Posted .
  94. Our lives won’t need to stop! With this amazing hammock our cherub can always be close by, no matter where we are or what we’re doing.

    Posted .
  95. Bub won’t need to be locked away in his room when he’s sleeping, so this will benefit his many visitors that are desperate to see and meet him :)

    Posted .
  96. Oh me, oh my! this reminds me of a scene from a lullaby. Where a baby can actually sleep, well, like a baby.

    Posted .
  97. My family would benefit from the Amby Baby Hammock and Mosquito net, because my mum is a Child and family Health nurse and has seen your wonderful products in homes that she visits. She thinks they are fantastic addition to any baby’s nursery. Please Rock my baby’s world with your Amby Baby Hommock and mosquito net products.

  98. This Amby Hammock (and Snuggler) would be heaven – an amazing way for my Night Owl to sleep, swing or rest which will stop the whole family from tearing their hair out trying to do the same!

    Posted .
  99. My baby won’t sleep unless he’s being rocked,
These sleepless nights are leaving me FOCKED,
& the Amby Jump Jump looks like my cup of tea,
my son’s too chubby for our Jolly Jumper harness thingy!

    Posted .
  100. Oh but who wouldn’t benefit from this lovely hammock? I know my back will appreciate it!! So much more accessible than reaching low into a cot.

    Posted .
  101. The baby hammock would be great. So much better than another cot in the living room. Love how the jump jump uses the same frame.

    Posted .
  102. The Amby Hammock would be perfect for the new baby and the Jump Jump looks fun!

  103. I have a two year old son, and I remember the long nights of trying to rock him to sleep or breastfeeding until I could not squeeze another drop from my poor boobs. With baby number two on the way it’ll be great to have an alternative! Please, my family would defiantly benefit from extra hours of sleep. Especially Mummy!

    Posted .
  104. My little man who is on the way would love to be rocked in this hammock night and day. I am yet to buy him a little bed and this would be the perfect addition. The other product i love a lot is the Amby Jump Jump as we currently rent and can’t attach any kind of swing to the doorways.

    Posted .
  105. Oh this would be heaven-sent for my little boy who loves being snuggled! He would likely sleep better in this as it’s snugly, sways & when we visit grandparents he won’t need to sleep in a different bed, because this is easily transportable! I’d also get the mosquito net for it.

    Posted .
  106. Rock a bye baby in the Amby Hammock
Mummy’s so tired she’s ready to chuck!
Soon you’ll need the jumper instead

She has just under gone major surgery to have her stomach act like a valve at the bottom of her oesophegus so any help we can get to keep her upright and comfortable would be more than amazing and her parents are in desperate need of some rest before baby number two arrives in the next 10 days!

Now she’s on the outside she likes to be all snuggled up when she sleeps and won’t sleep in her cot or basinette! The Amby Hammock and sheet sets would be perfect for her so she feels snug and secure and will let mummy get some sleep!

  155. An Amby hammock would make the perfect sleeping space for our expected August baby at the grandparents house. Stylish and compact so they won’t feel like the house is being taken over. Although after hearing what a godsend these can be for restless babies I’m not sure I will be able to part with it!

I can’t decide between the Amby snuggler and jumpjump for a second favourite product. Both look great but I’d probably have to prioritize the Snuggler for newborn safety and comfort.

  169. Oh my gosh – I wish I’d known about this product earlier! It sounds like the hammock is exactly what we need. Our lovely 3.5 month old daughter is not a fan of napping. It’s always such a struggle to get her to have sleeps during the day and causes much stress in our house. Usually the only way she’ll sleep is if she’s being held which means not much can get done around the house! The Amby Baby Hammock sounds like a dream – or at least dream inducing!
I also love that the frame can be used for the Amby Jump Jump. I’m certain our little girl would love playing in it when she gets a little bit older :)

  170. I love the hammock! My friend has one and when we went to visit her my baby just LOVED sleeping in it! He looked so relaxed and snug! I also love the Amby Jump Jump, it reminds me of the one I had when I was little and it was so much fun, there were lots of giggles!

With our first baby making an entrance in the next few months, I can’t think of a better bedding solution – my baby will feel protected and safe as we are joined together in a brand new environment. I want my baby to be at an arm’s reach and to never feel isolated – the Amby Baby Hammock would gently allow my baby to adjust to the outside world without distress.

The mosquito net would come in handy to keep our cheeky cat from curling up with baby, as we found this was the case with our first bub.
Winning this would make those first few early months not quite as hectic as i remember for a busy mum of 2.

  188. oh dear oh dear this hammock may be just what I need to keep myself sane with my forever awake grumpy princess =) it may just be the best gift for her as the only thing to slow her screaming is the “motions” my arms r starting to fall out of joint by the non-stop bouncing & rocking lol

  189. This would be awesome for miss 3mths, she loves to be swayed off to sleep!

    Posted .
  190. Being able to easily move this around is brilliant! I found my son easily went to sleep easily outside during the day, but that meant sleeping in his pram which wasn’t ideal – this would provide a consistent and cosy place for bub to get used to a sleeping routine both during the day and at night!

  200. I was intoduced to the whole concept of baby hammocks when I atended baby yoga classes with my first born. I was amazed at how quickly it settled my little girl (and how I could have a relaxing workout at the same time). I told myself it was a ‘must have’ when baby number two arrives. She’s coming in ten weeks!! I would love the ‘Amby Travel Bag’ because the hammock is one of those things that ‘goes where you go’!!!

She’s a demanding little thing that likes to be on the move and if she’s like this now, I can’t imagine what she’ll be like as a newborn! This beautiful hammock would be an amazing piece for our nursery to ensure some zzz’s for everyone and I love the Amby Jumpy Jump – that would definitely keep her happy when she’s a little bit older.

  219. Wow, thanks so much for introducing me to the Amby products – I wish I’d known about the Snuggler when my premmie first was ringed by a nest of blankets in her incubator. How much safer and stylish the Snuggler would have been!
I love the Hammock, I would put my youngest in it for all her daytime sleeps so that helpful older sister wouldn’t keep climbing the cot!
It would also be lovely to pop her in it with the mosquito net protecting her when the family go out for our regular camping trips – its not great deciding between leaving her in a hot tent or out cooler but ready to be a Mosquito’s lunch!

    My arms are getting sore,
And I could use a little help,
For when I’m up at four,
I’d rock her back to sleep,
    And she’d be so calm,
    In her Amby cradle,
    Relaxed, snuggled in and warm.
    She’d be so much happier,
And less grumpy I would be,
    My arms would recover,
    And I’d need less coffee,
So please send Amby our way,
    Because more sleep we need,
    And make mothering easier,
With a little love from Amby <3

The jumpy jump would be the icing on the cake.. These brilliant products have just raced to the top of my wish list and taken out quite a few items on the way!

  233. My family would love the baby hammock for our second child because we were lucky enough to be able to borrow one from a friend for our first child and it was such a big help. Because of my partners job we are either moving alot or he is away for long periods of time leaving me at home with the little man with no family support and trying to complete my degree and look after a house. The hammock was great while traveling as it kept him calm as it was a familiar sarrounding for him. Now with the second child on the way it would be wonderful to have one of my own. I also love the amby jump jump, we have a similar product at the moment but I really don’t feel comfortable with it hanging from the door frame. I love the idea of it hanging from a more stable frame.

The jump jump is sure to be a hit.

  256. I am not entering this competition. Just commenting that my daughter NEVER slept in her cot as she required movement to sleep. A hammock bed will be the first thing I purchase if another little one came along.

  261. This would be awesome for us as we live in the Northern Territory it is often hot with loads of mosquitos AND we rarely have access to baby products such as this. The Amby Baby Hammock would mean my baby can have a day time sleep in cool comfort and be protected from bities!
