Today I am expecting my third and (may be) last, and it still remains my wish to own a cot.

  50. With baby on its way
And not a lot of time to play
I head off to Incy Interiors to while away
The time admiring all the goods on my baby dossier.

First comes the cot of choice, the Rupert; solid white pine.
The classic, timeless look, making the baby’s room look fine.
    The Scarlet Changetable/Dresser is the perfect accompaniment;
In gorgeous white French Provincial, converting to a dresser, I’m content.

I head over to the bookcases -
The Keiley with four carved legs.
Perfect to hold the nappies, creams
And precious ornaments for babe’s nest egg.

With linen so divine, it will be a very difficult choice.
But it’s the Sophie Elizabeth Cot Comforter, I say in a nice strong voice.
With matching cot sheet sets – I have to keep up with such style.
I’m really very excited, I love the choices I’ve compiled.

The Marshmellow Felt Ball Rug for girls
Quirky, soft wool, an item I couldn’t go past.
Adds the colour blast to baby’s room
    Beautiful looks; made to last.

I’ll finish off with a pink lampshade
To place on the Arienne Side Table.
    Reinforcing French Provincial
    Handcrafted and truly beautiful.

    Now I’ve made my choices
There’s only one more thing to do.
Wait impatiently for bub to arrive
So for now I’ll say ‘adieu’.

  51. Due to complications in my pregnancy I had to stop working, and, finding ourselves suddenly on a single income, my dreams for a timeless, Scandinavian inspired nursery had to be revised. Instead of the designer cot I’d had my eye on, we were given an old cot that I sanded, painted and oiled until I achieved the Scandinavian look I was after – with superb results. I learned to sew and created a gorgeous, stylish nursery for my little man that I wouldn’t swap for anything! However, for bub number 2, we will be on an even tighter budget and I will have less time, so a beautiful new cot as timelessly elegant as the white Reese cot would be amazing. The stylish Egg Chair and the beautiful Owls Sky cot linen would transform the nursery into an elegant wonder!

  52. This is a cot I like a lot,
But my baby likes it better.
Her little head upon the bed,
    Dreaming of a bygone era.
    Classical, timeless, beautiful and clever
She’ll not want to leave it, oh no, not ever!

(Except maybe to sit in her Egg chair, our favorite from the range!)

  53. A friend has the Incy egg chair and my 2 year old loves sitting in it, so I’d have to have that for his bedroom. And a kids tee pee in the corner so he can hide all his teddies in it.

S/he will share a room with big sister miss 23 months!

But now it needs a touch of masculinity!
Perhaps a duvet cover in Zachary,
    could kick start the individuality!
A leather eqq chair and bookcase in Keiley,
    Would soon encourage his vocabulary!
With so many options, it’s easy to get greedy!
“Mummy” would be happy with ANYTHING from Incy!

Functional and lovely too! Ill keep my fingers crossed please pick me!

  88. HOW TO….
Create the perfect stylish baby room from an empty spare room in only 10 steps.

Step 1. – one reece cot (sturdy white iron cot, will last the test of time and even baby 2,3….)
Step 2. – sophie elizabeth cot comforter, cot sheet set and cot valance (is perfect for bub and cot a like)
Step 3. – one keiley bookcase (for the scholarly bub’s book collection and maybe a soft toy or two.)
Step 4. – one scarlet change table/dresser ( a stylish dresser deserves a stylish dresser, and a change table for any of those little accidents).
Step 5. – one incy egg chair – brown leather (perfect for mum and bub time, both mum and bub will be happy in this snug chair)
Step 6. – one Chevron rug (when it is floor time – no other floor will do, as simple as that.)
Step 7. – one deer white papier-mâché head (over the cot a stylish safari trophy for the little explorer.
Step 8. one porcupine wall sticker set (for the yet to be explored corner of the room)
Step 9. one sophie elizabeth lampshade (for grandma’s lamp and a gentle warm glow.)
Step 10. fabric covered name (as after all this is the bub’s room now)

    …………………………..

We’re in the planning stages of number two and I’ve just skipped straight ahead to making the list and creating mood boards for our next child’s room (love a design project). On my list before this competition even came along is:
    1) toddler conversion kit for the Baxter cot so my daughter can stay in her much loved cot as a big girl bed, plus it suits her room so well!
    2) The Reese cot – you don’t need me to say why – it’s perfection
    3) Rocking egg chair – that’s a timeless piece that would never end up on the verge side collection! Hopefully my kids will use it for their kids.

  117. I am an interior designer and with my first child on the way the pressure is no doubt on from friends and relatives alike to unveil the nursery of nurseries! What I enjoyed most about visiting the Incy product was the addition of bold colours into the range and the movement away from just pink, blue and white. Incy products allow the designer to create a unique unisex nursery pulling away from the boring norms and expected cliche’s of baby room decoration.

    I am not sure if we are having a boy or girl as yet, however irrespective, if designing a nursery from the Incy range I would choose to work with the following great Incy products;

    - The dark brown Incy Sophia cot,
    - Zachery hunter fabric lantern x 3
    - Red elephant bunting
    - Deer white paper macho head
    - Bird knitted jacquard bean bag

  134. I love the Reese cot and would pair it with the Scarlet change table/dresser. I’m going for a classic elegant nursery thats not too matchy matchy, which is gender neutral so I would also use the Ryan side table to store all my bits and pieces while feeding. The rocking egg chair in grey, Bella grace lamp shade, a few Zachary Hunter lanterns, A draper citrine stripe rug and the deer paper mâché head for something unexpected would top it off! Just perfect

A girl soft and gentle or bouncing boy glee?
I know you will love a nursery fine,
a brilliant white cot, crafted from iron.
A sheet soft and snug with skyline drawn on,
like your architect daddy, dream of cities far yon.
A mint leather chair – designed to delight
for story-time cuddles and kisses goodnight.
Pom poms in garland and for sitting on too
in the brightest of colours, what’s your favourite hue?
So much to learn about you, tiny one,
but for now keep on baking my sweet little bun

And a budding cowboy played in his tee pee hut
    And the incey wincey spider

This cot would be the perfect centrepiece for our newest addition to the family which is due in 2 weeks!!
Not only is it a crisp fresh look but also I love the fact that it is made from steel!!! With our first daughter I found that having a white wooden cot comes with its disadvantages being that Kailie has left her teething marks all over it!! I also love the Egg Chair.
