  1. The recliner chair would suit my nearly 2yr old daughter as she loves flipping through her books and I can imagine this being a cosy seat for her to read her books as she grows!

Also the retro kitchen as she has just started to enjoy helping me to bake and mix…she would love her own kitchen =)

  2. The Hip Kids Activity Table would really suit my boys. They could use it as a platform for their train set and then store the trains underneath when they are not playing. It would also make a great table for play doh and painting and the reversible chalk board would also be very useful. It would really suit their style and look fantastic in their playroom.

  10. The arts and craft activity table would suit my four year old, and myself too!!!! She loves her craft activities, but they can get in the way on my dining table – what better way to make us both happy than this table!!!

I’d love to say the recliner chairs but unfortunately “laid back” is NOT my daughters style at all! :)
So I would have to say the activity tables, this suits her style because she is constantly on the go and active – how great to have everything in one place (At least I’d know where she was – for a while at least!!)

    Posted .
  24. Blue stackable toy box twin set. With a new baby on the way hiding as many big boy toys in my almost 3 year old sons room is imperative!!

    Posted .
  25. I would love a Ride on Toy Animal for our son. We live in the country and as he’s too small to ride on an animal outside, riding on one of these gorgeous toys inside would be perfect!

    Posted .
  26. The Arts and Craft Table would be perfect for my Son. He loves doing Art work and its so Practical and Gorgeous

    Posted .
  27. Very hard decision as hip kids have so much cool stuff. It wukd be a fight between their cool cubbies my son son would love the fire station one and I am sure he could share with his baby sister. Cubby equals ours of play and peace for mummy. Or the awesome activity table for Lego to get it off the floor and so we stop standing on it (ouch).

  28. The Hip Kids Activity Table would really suit my bos. They could use it as a platform for their train set and then store the trains underneath when they are not playing (well hopefully). It would also make a great table for play doh and painting and the reversible chalk board would also be very useful.

  29. Wow! I love everything on that website but I would have to say, apart from the sofa, my son would go crazy over a cubby house!!

    Posted .
  30. My little one would love a ride on animal. She’s still really little but loves animals already so this would suit her personality perfectly!

    Posted .
  31. The activity arts and craft play table would be great, as it will allow my daughter go wide with her Imagination on the art side. Yet it will also allow her to learn to be organised and put things away to where it belongs.

  34. Although Ayn in only 32 months, she loves reading books of all kinds, looking at pictures and talking to them. I think the Red Classic Kids Recliner Chair would be perfect to keep her comfortable and encourage her to continue this great hobby of hers as it stimulates her understanding of objects and things around her and who knows? She might just be Australias next big scientist or even president!

    Posted .
  36. The metro table with 4 red chairs would suit our house and little man’s room perfectly! Plus being good quality it would last for years and be able to be given to our kid’s kids! Love the red stuff!!

    Posted .
  37. A wheelbarrow as my little girl loves to help me in the garden. She has her own little plot in the veggie patch and a wheelbarrow will help her to carry her little tools :)

    Posted .
  38. I would love the classic red kids recliner I can see my little dude kicking back in a recliner and having a nap.

    Posted .
  39. I adore the red Kids Hudson Sofa. Ever since my son was born I have been looking for a little red sofa for the corner of his room. He loves books and I want to create for him his own special space to sit and enjoy his books. The red perfectly matches his funky little red and navy themed room and the fact that it is a toy box as well is just fantastic. What I love aside from the storage capabilities is that it is small enough to have in a child’s room but it is still a lovely, modern piece of furniture and it is not ”toy like’ in it’s design.

  40. The ‘Activity Arts and Craft Play Table’ is adorable! Perfect for my little arty-babe!

    Posted .
  44. The Aston table & chair set with storage because, like my boy, it’s stylish, compact & fun :-)

    Posted .
  45. Well, the sofa and toy box would have to be top of the list anyway – but OMG the activity and craft table would just be a little corner of heaven!!

    Posted .
  46. We would love an activity table and more storage is always needed!

    Posted .
  47. The Alice Tudor Style Cubby House would be so amazing! You see, our kids have overtaken our house, so it no longer belongs to us, so maybe with this gorgoeus play house, we’d start to feel like we are the landlords again, rather than the tenants!

    Posted .
  48. My wee boy will be three soon – I’d love one of their steel balance bikes that converts – what a top design!

    Posted .
  49. A bright red wheelbarrow would be much loved, so we could play in the garden together. One of my favourite childhood memories is having my own garden where i could make mud pies, play with flowers and eat yummy vegetables I grew!

  50. My hubby is a pianist and we are a very musical family, so we can’t go past the Black kids wooden toy piano – not only is it exquisite to look at, but it makes beautiful music too, and would bring so much joy to us as a family at music time.

    Posted .
  51. There are so many things my 2 1/2y/o daughter ivy would love…. But I would have to say the retro play kitchen as she loves helping in the kitchen, I am sure she would love her very own! :)

    Posted .
  52. The recliner chair would be perfect so my little man can watch Sunday football side by side with Daddy.

    Posted .
  53. I think for this household, it would have to be a few sets of the stackable toy boxes. We have three kids aged 6, 4 and 6mths, and with these we’d be able to sort the toys into age appropriate levels!

    Posted .
  54. My hubby and I have been eyeing off the chocolate hudson sofa for our 2 year old little bookworm. It would be the cosiest place for him to get lost in his books whilst being just like mummy and daddy on the couch!

    Posted .
  55. The wooden toy piano! Our son would just love this!!!!!! Everything on hip kids is so good.

    Posted .
  56. with 8 kids you can never have too much toy storage space and whats even better is these are stylish toy storage! one of these would be awesome!

    Posted .
  57. I love Aston Red Kids Table & Chairs Set w/ Toy Storage. It is compact. Also, it can be a nice toy display table in my little one’s room. This is a creative product.

    Posted .
  58. The Pink Retro Kitchen Set would definitely suit my 20 month old Hip Kids personality. She loves ‘helping’ me in the kitchen and playing pretend.

    Posted .
  59. OMG their furniture is gorgeous! I scanned through for a while then came across their kids recliners. My hubby and I have always said if we could afford it we would love a pair of LaZBoy chairs for the lounge. It’s would be so cute if we could have our daughter sitting there with us in her own chair! My choice would be the ‘Chocolate Modern Kids Recliner Chair’

    Posted .
  60. My daughter is modern, funky, feminine and has a great imagination. She would have an amazing time playing and exploring in the sweet and gorgeous Mini Alice Cubby. After a long day of playing in the cubby she would recline and relax on the modern red recliner arm chair and read a book.

    Posted .
  61. Activity Arts and Craft Play Table – Pink because my toddler LOVES to draw and paint and create!

    Posted .
  62. I love HipKids! The mini mustang sofa is super cool, but my favourite thing is the ride on horse! It is on my christmas list for sure, my kids will LOVE it and we can take it for a ride to the park!

    Posted .
  63. While the recliner chairs are some of the cutest pieces of kids furniture I have seen, I can’t go past the Craft tables. My eldest daughter is prolific in her drawing and craft production and to have a specific table where everything can be organised and kept would be fantastic – much better than the little ole’ Ikea table we currently have.

    Posted .
  64. My daughter would adore the play kitchen and especially the fridge. Pulling everything out of our freezer and the bottom shelves and door of our fridge is one of her favourite things to do. Clearly mum and daugther need their own kitchen each!! Thanks

    Posted .
  65. The Store and Play Toy Box definitely suits Thomas, my two year old. He is a very clever little boy and does amazing drawings for his age (yes I’m most likely bias!). It would be perfect to store all his paper and pencils and other craft things in, and he can use the top as his little desk. He’d love it!

    Posted .
  66. Pink Princess Ride On Steel Vintage Pedal Car is right down my little girl’s alley! She’s a car emthusiast, and wants to be a mechanic when she grows up. her favourite toys are cars, and pink ones of course. Why should boys have all the fun with cars?!!!

    Posted .
  67. The red upholstered toy box would be perfect addition to my daughters bedroom!

    Posted .
  68. The modern recliner is good for my son, he likes a cool place to stay when he is reading.

    Posted .
  69. I love the ride on animals as it makes playing really interactive and what a great price. Also think the cubby houses look amazing with that sheik look

    Posted .
  70. The Arts and Craft Table would be a blessing as it would keep my son entertained and occupied and myself happy and content.

    Posted .
  71. I love the Alice chubby house and seriously considering it as a Christmas present! The jasper table and chair set is a perfect way to encourage drawing and creative play.

    Posted .
  72. Clem would definitely appreciate the art and craft table and so would I as we currently convert her toddler ‘eating’ table to the craft table and back again several times a day – when paint and chalk and play-dough are involved it gets messy!

    Posted .
  73. My son would be so surprised to get a cubby house. He makes just about everything from pillows to tables his cubby house at the moment.

    Posted .
  74. What fantastic items. I love being able to put all the toys away at the end of the day, and restore the living room from “pink toy overload” to the “grown ups zone”. In addition to the Hudson sofa and the toy box, I love the look of the activity arts and craft play table – a great way to keep all that fun stuff in one place, in its place.

    Posted .
  75. The stackable toy boxes would be perfect for my son’s room – we would play games to put all the toys away in groups- cars in one, books, balls, animals in another etc. We would also learn colours and shapes by sorting similar things together

    Posted .
  76. OMG the coffee machine would be adored by my son – He HAS to have HIS coffee every morning, just milk not my ‘yukky’ coffee, and would adore making some on his machine! We sit on Skype with his grandparents having coffee parties every week – Coffee is essential in our household!

    Posted .
  77. The white wooden toy piano for my beautiful bub who loves to make music with her hands.

    Posted .
  78. Activity Arts and Craft Play Table – Blue, suit his style because he’s a very artsy, fartsy, crafty, creative little guy.

    Posted .
  79. Red Classic Kids Recliner Chair, it’s like a mini version of Daddies favourite chair, which they’re forever squabbling over. It’d suit his laid back disposition.

    Posted .
  80. Black Kids Wooden Toy Piano, to suit his musical style. He’s obsessed with his Auntie’s piano every time we visit, so would adore his own.

    Posted .
  81. I have been wanting to purchase the Chocolate Modern Kids Recliner Chair for months. It would totally suit my daughters style and in hindsight I wish I’d bought one before my now 2 week old was born as my obsessed 3 year old sits on the arm of my feeding chair during feed times which makes for a cramped breastfeed to say the least. If she had her own recliner next to me I think we would all be happy.

    Posted .
  82. Hopefully these sofas can take Daddy’s weight, as our current ones have been well and truly squashed!
The other piece of furniture I would choose is the kids recliner chairs. They are the most fantastic thing I’ve seen in ages.

    Posted .
  83. My little girl would LOVE the play kitchen and when she needs to relax can sit down it style in one of the kids recliners.

    Posted .
  84. arts and craft table would be a hit! we love keeping our 2yo busy with ‘stuff’ to make. and its amazing how their imagination grows!

  86. The red Hip Kids activity arts and crafts table looks ideal for our little one- he can use it right now for his trains and blocks, and it will convert into an art centre when he is ready. Plus it is just right for sharing the fun when his cousins visit.

    Posted .
  87. The Ride on Wlking Toy Giraffe would be right at home in our house (which looks more like a zoo!). My kids are obsessed with animals, especially their spotty pals, the giraffe, and with this toy, they could mingle with their long necked favourite animal, chewing on leaves together!

    Posted .
  88. Grandpop owns a farm in the country, and my son idolises him – he loves tractor rides and sitting inside Grandpop’s wheelbarrow whilst he picks yummy strawberries! I often see my son pretend play that he owns a farm in our backyard, so the Yellow Childrens Steel Wheelbarrow would help him plough the fields in our tiny city backyard *smiles*!

    Posted .
  89. The stackable toy boxes could be just what I’ve been looking for as a storage solution for my baby’s rather small nursery! I like how as he/she gets bigger they can be removed to play with the toys inside and then re-stacked against a wall. These are a great alternative to the cube shelving I was considering!

    Posted .
  90. I think one of the kids recliner chairs would suit my 2-year-old son, as he just loves copying everything his Daddy does. I could just see them sitting side by side, each in their own chair, reading the paper or watching TV together.

    Posted .
  91. The “Art and Craft Table” – let their creativity run wild.

    Posted .
  92. Wow, we could do with the Red Retro Toy Coffee Machine Set in our playroom – My Barista loves to watch Daddy make coffee, and always wants a Baby Cino to match, so with the coffee machine, she could own her own coffee cart and could make short blacks and mochas all day long!

    Posted .
  93. I love all the sofas, but the Mustang sofa in Blue ot Red would be amazing :)

    Posted .
  94. The simple yet cool design of the Store and Play Toy Box is exactly what I need for my son, something useful for both of us and it would really clean up the lounge room!

    Posted .
  95. Love the little Wooden Toy Piano, Sienna loves anything musical & this little Piano would allow her to develop at her own pace.

    Posted .
  96. the Hudson sofa would be perfect, storage as well as room for both miss 5 and mr 3 to share.

    Posted .
  97. Arts and Craft Activity Red Table, he loves reading and when I pick him up from daycare he’s always sitting at the table playing.

    Posted .
  98. The wooden piano (yes…apparently a piano is a piece of furniture according to my husband) would suit Miss nearly two down to a tee… or a doe, ray, me!

She loves to copy Daddy when he’s playing piano and already seems overly confident in her abilities to play (requesting applause and high fives at the end of any tinkling she does!).

    Posted .
  99. My little baby would love the The Hudson Kids sofa once it grows up big enough to lounge on it- just like Dad does!

    Posted .
  100. The sofa would look so cute in my little fella’s room the red is so funky just what a growing boy needs

    Posted .
  101. The Arts and Crafts table would be brilliant- I have 2 very busy children who can not let any of the recycling go out without making it into something else first so I need this to get my kitchen table back!

    Posted .
  102. activity arts and craft
    table perfect in pink

    Posted .
  104. My boys would love the Activity Arts and Craftes Play Table in red. My 4 yr old loves painting, coloring and practicing the Alphabet at the moment. I love how it has the storage draw so everything is packed up easily and stored away neatly.

    Posted .
  105. My 4 year old son is a chip off the old block and a stickler for cleanliness ( a mothers dream chid in that aspect!) he hates things on shelves looking messy and toys/things out of place. He love my theory everything has its home……so for his room he would love the activity table – all his arts in crafts in one place and everything would have its home :)

    Posted .
  106. It would have to be the activity Art and Craft table – perfect height and lots of storage. Brilliant.

    Posted .
  107. The Black Kids Modern Recliner Arm Chair would be perfect for my kids style as it is gorgeous, cute, stylish, irresistible and practical just like my kids. Plus, I’m sick of my kids stealing my couch!!!

    Posted .
  108. So now I need to start prioritizing because the Christmas list is full!!! A small and large ride on unicorn will be delighting my girls very very soon (I’m so excited, I mean my kids will be so excited ;-). The Hudson sofa in pink for the play room, a pink wheel barrow for spring gardening, modern recliners for the living room, a retro fridge, the little kitchen mixer… And the beautiful cubby house perfectly petite for the coutryard! Yeeeeee!!!! So many beauful things!!!!

    Posted .
  109. My daughter babbles “opem fidge peez” (open fridge please) constanly, all day, and when I do, she just wants to stand there, mesmerised by it’s colourful contents, and wants to open and close all the drawers over and OVER again! So for the sake of our food remining fresh, and our power bills, the White Retro Toy Refrigerator would suit our daughter’s style perfectly!

    Posted .
  110. I know this is not so much a furniture, but my little boy would love Steel Pedal Cars / Ride On Toys. He can be just like his Daddy, totally into cars

    Posted .
  111. The Activity Arts and Craft Play Table in Red would be great for my little girl to use for playtime fun…and with a place for everything it will make my job of cleaning up after her that much easier!

    Posted .
  112. The closest we’ll ever get to taking a joyride with a roaring feline is the “Ride On Walking Toy Tiger – Large” My son is crazy for this wildcat, thankfully this toy is super soft and cuddly, and whilst it may look like the real thing, it won’t behave like it!

    Posted .
  113. DS1 already has a hipkids steel balance bike, which he loves, but a classic kids recliner would also make a great addition for my little bookworm.

    Posted .
  114. so many things at Hip Kids are fantastic at a pinch I would have to say that the craft tables are super clever!

    Posted .
  115. I really love the little Hudson lounge featured but after lookingthrough all of the Hip Kids range I think the Ride On Unicorn in either large or small would be a big hit with my daughter Addison as well since her bedroom is themed ‘ponies and horses’. She is only 7 months old so not ready to ride just yet on her own… pity her Mummy can’t have a go :)

    Posted .
  116. We have the Aston Red table with toy storage and so do many of our friends, after seeing it at our house! It will match so beautifully with the store and play toy box we are about to win ;)

    Posted .
  117. I love the white piano. But I am leaving that at granny’s house so they can endure the noise all day long. At least they can return the kid to us and it’s peaceful once again!

    Posted .
  118. The pink classic recliner chair is what we need for my girls to come home to just chillax in front of the tv or for that quiet time reading! To top it all off this will make them to remain in their toy room longer and stay away from the adult lounge room for our peace and quiet !

    Posted .
  119. My daughter would love the pink classic kids recliner chair. I can see her ‘just chillin’ in it, as she calls it.

    Posted .
  120. does a piano count as furniture? It does in our house… :) little one is music mad and wants to play the big one all the time!

    Posted .
  121. I love the stackable toy boxes, they are fantastic the way they click together and have a wide opening at the front – all whilst looking unobtrusive in a modern contemporary lounge. I also love the store and play toy boxes – they would match our lounge meaning a coffee table that can be adult with the lid closed and kid friendly with storage! Love good design with practicality. This page is already bookmarked!

  122. I have been admiring the Retro Kitchen Set for nearly 2 years now.I think it is fantastic, as along with the fridge it reminds me of my grandma’s kitchen!

    Posted .
  128. The Kids Hudson Sofa in pink or white would be perfect for my twin girls room because it’s painted pink, purple and white with white furniture. Also because they share a room it would be excellent to store their toys and both be able to sit down and read books before bed. How good would that be? :)

  129. oh my this stuff is just too cute – i know my son would love the metro kids desk with red chair set, for his office work (thats what he calls it) and it would suit his new bedroom perfectly.

  276. I love the Activity Arts and Craft Play Table, it would suit my kids playroom to a tee right now as i’ve just strated to get them interested in the arts and crafts, they will actually sit still long enough now to do some creative work.
It looks so durable and easy to clean too.

  277. The Activity Arts and Craft Table is fantastic- my little one is like a stick of dynamite and is always go, go, go so an item like this would help me maintain some degree of order with her crafts.

  280. omg these things are amazing we love the chocolate table with Amy chairs! we are forever asking my Son to sit down while eating he forever wants to sit at the dining table ( which is an adult version of this set ive just mentioned) which is great but its just not the right size so he is often wriggling n squirming in his chair which often results in food getting spilt evetywhere. This would save us alot of hassle n fuss during dinner time n make our dinners a beautiful sharing moment like they shood be! Yessss Pleaaase!

  281. Hello we just received our great kids recliners from hip kids. They look great and kids love them but they are emitting a really strong chemical smell that is giving everyone a head ache. Does this go away and what is it?????

  282. That’s no good at all Cappa! Please contact Hip Kids directly by phone or email as I’m sure they’ll be able to help you out with how to ease the smell! Their details can be found here: http://www.hipkids.com.au/view/contact_us Thanks!
