It’s ‘pop-up’ seating for kids with a difference.
Japanese designers Satoshi Itasaka and Takuto Usami, who together are h220430, have created the EVA Chair for kids. Guiding the design is the belief that recognition of ‘superior’ design can be fostered from a very young age (provided we surround ourselves with fabulous things!).
The EVA Chair can be quickly assembled with a piece of coloured string and stored either flat or rolled up. It’s apparently made from a durable and child-safe material whichcomes in a range of colours. The chair is also recyclable.

The Eva Chair is a concept piece at this stage but given its portability (and presumably lightweight shipping costs!) and style, it’s sure to hit the production line in the future.
