It certainly is pretty and a departure from the lowboy style of most baby and children’s dressers! It’s the brand spanking new Stokke Dresser and it will be here soon. I just love the cutout handles which make opening each drawer hassle-free.

We’ve been in touch with Exquira who are the distributors of Stokke locally (remember that awesome Stokke December competition last year? Yep, that’s them.) and they are excited to tell us that the Stokke Dresser will arrive in September. Those springtime babies sure are cashing on the new releases this year!

Now the RRP isn’t quite finalised but they are reasonably sure it’ll be around the $999 mark; a great price considering the workmanship of Stokke products and that this piece is a real keeper. Yes, really, it’ll be in your grandchild’s nursery! Four colours will be available so the dresser will adapt to any decor environment; natural, white, whitewash and walnut.

That’s not all folks; there’s also a new textiles range for the Stokke Tripp Trapp highchair. There’s a gorgeous spotty take on the woodland craze – Silhouette – and classically elegant checks (below). These new cushions have a wipeable surface too.

We’re loving the new range – it’s Stokke’s fortieth anniversary year so we would like to congratulate them on their considerable design achievements.
