Both babies and parents need to get a good night’s sleep, and if your child is a little colicky or just a restless sleeper, a Miyo Baby Hammock maybe the answer. Who wouldn’t love the gentle sway of a hammock while being securely cocooned inside a cosy hammock.
Designed in New Zealand, these 100% cotton hammocks come with a hook to hang from the ceiling joist. If this is not possible in your home or your landlord won’t allow you to drill a hole, you also have the option of purchasing either a clamp to hang from the doorway or a stand-alone frame in either metal or timber (available in December).
The hammock itself sells for NZ $179 and is available in white or sand and comes with a mattress that fits securely into the hammock. Not available online, they list retail stockists in Australia on their site.
