If you have even one messy toddler, the sight of this much white furniture may start an uneasy flutter in your heart. Sticky fingers aside, there’s something about this range of children’s furniture, homewares, clothing and accessories which I find incredibly compelling.
Cyrus Company is an Italian brand and Bambino is their signature range for little people. They have been decorating the homes and nurseries of Europe for more than thirty years, and now they are coming to Australia.
If you’re a fan of Italian design, this is great news. The Bambino range is unique in that although it’s totally white, you can customise it with different finishes, fabrics, appliques and sizes. It is a blank canvas on which you can inject your family’s unique personality. Of course, the pieces themselves are more than a basic canvas – the design details are understated and beautiful.
I particularly love the cot with peekaboo cutouts and the recurring motifs on so many of the nursery furniture pieces. The Bambino range is designed with security and comfort in mind, two very important elements when it comes to children. It will launch in Australia in September, and we’ll keep you updated with prices and availability.
