Bone tired? Pull up a Dinosaur Chair!

Budding paleontologists will love this choice of seating – a skeletal dinosaur chair!

Adelaide-based Industrial Design student Jaime Sanchez is the mastermind behind this unique and fun children’s chair. Lovers of all things dinosaur themed will notice immediately that the two base pieces that support the seat and back of this chair are shaped as dinosaurs. To make the seat, you simply pop out the pieces that resemble prehistoric bones and fit them in.

The Dinosaur Chair is made from plywood and can be left natural or arm the kids with paint and give it a splash of colour. It sounds like a great weekend project to me, especially if you’re happy for the end result to be a very interesting (but not particularly prehistorically accurate) coloured Dinosaur Chair.

The Dinosaur Chair is expected to be manufactured by Furniture Design Market and ready for retailers soon. The price of the Dinosaur Chair has not yet been set, but we’ll let you know when it is.
